Andrew was born on 25 September 1973 in Sunnyvale, California to parents Kathleen Daphne Bagby, a nurse and midwife and David Bagby former US Navy serviceman and computer engineer.

In early 1999, Andrew began dating a woman called Shirley Turner. Shirley was born on February 28th 1961, she was also the daughter of a serviceman. Shirley was intelligent and was studying for a career in the medical field.

In August of 2000 after around 18 months of dating, Shirley was offered a job at Trimark Physicians Corporation. She took the job and had to move to Sac City, Iowa. Meanwhile, Andrew has just graduated from Memoriwl University and landed a surgical residency in Syracuse, New York. Despite the distance between them, both were committed in maintaining a long distance relationship with a view of moving closer in the near future.
The distance caused the first cracks in the relationship, Shirley visited Andrew seven times whereas he had only visited her once. She grew paranoid that he was losing interest in her. On the 10th of July 2001, less than a year into her contract, Shirley left her job with Trimark and moved to Council Bluffs, Iowa where she was hired by Alwgenr Health System.
In October 2011, Shirley obtained a permit to buy a firearm, she purchased a handgun and began to take firearm lessons. She began to exhibit possessive behavior and would regularly harass him over the phone and over email.
On the 13th of October, Shirley revealed to Andrew that she was 3 months pregnant. Andrew insisted to Shirley they talk about the baby during a wedding they were both due to attend. Shirley returned home but just a month later she visited Andrew again and confessed she had be lying about the pregnancy in an effort to trick Andrew into staying in a relationship with her. Furious he drove her to the airport and ended the relationship.
Perhaps if he had known about Shirley's past he would never had gotten involved with her.
A/N: So this will probably be divided in 3 or 4 parts, maybe more. This case had me hooked for a long time I'm so glad I got to write it. It's a really sad case too so beware.
