This is a Cathy and Catherine one,(mother daughter relationship!)
Anne and Cathy aren't dating so that's why.

They had all decided to go out to a restaurant and go shopping since it was a Sunday and they were all having a good time. We'll they were,
Anne and Cathy were getting slightly overwhelming since it was noisy and a bit crowded, Anne's hand was being held by kitty and she was distracted her from everything else, while Cathy was behind everyone, getting more and more overwhelming the more she walks.
Cathy's brain was going in 3million directions, she could focus, she could see properly, it was just too bright, everything was too loud and she didn't have her noise cancelling headphones cause she thought they were in the car.
Tears started gathering in her eyes and she lifted her hands to her ears, struggling to keep herself 'in check' so she didn't end up ruining the whole day, at least thats what she told herself.
She couldn't anymore, she had to get away, she looked around slightly to try and find a place to calm herself down or end up having a sensory overload, she didn't want that,

Anne had seen Cathy panicking and just tapped catherine on the shoulder as she seen Cathy start to run off, she pointed to where Cathy had run. Catherine looked at her in confusion before she realised that Cathy wasn't there.
"thank you Anne" she squeezed her arm and then walked towards where Cathy ran,

Cathy had turned the corner and had slumped against the wall and slowly slid down it with her hands digging into her scalp and tears streaming down her face, she choked out a sob as everything was just too much.
She struggled to get a breath but she felt the sun being blocked and just couldn't bring herself to open her eyes, she was trembling while tears fell down her face as she gripped her head harder until she felt hands gently grab her wrists and full them down, "hey Cathy your gonna be alright okay? You think you can open your eyes for me sweetheart?" she heard, she couldn't tell the voice over what was happened , but she knew it was someone she trusted, that's all she cared about.
"following my breathing sweetheart, everything's going to be alright!" the voice was soft,gentle, it made her feel safe,
Who ever it was started to breath out loud and she slowly followed their breathing,

Eventually she was breathing normally but still had tears running down her face and had her eyes closed,
" can u open your eyes for me?" it was catherine, she trusted her, right?
'what happens if she's mad I ruined the trip'   Cathy couldn't help but think that but still opened her eyes to see catherine looking at her forehead, eye contact after a sensory overload was never good, but she respected that.
She felt her hands bring held and a finger lightly stroking over her knuckles.
"I-I'm s-sorry" she choked out as catherine  sympathies with her,
"do u wanna go home, touch or no? Verbal or non verbal? "
She thought for a minute
She put up 1 finger and nodded, she then put up 2 fingers and then nodded, she desperately wanted affection if if she thinks she doesn't deserve it, she puts up a third finger and put a thumbs down.
Catherine nodded and helped her up, Cathy stood right beside catherine had she called a taxi.

Once they were home catherine sent Cathy to the sofa and brought out some blanket and gave her some warmer and comfortable clothes, it was just a big jumper and some shorts, she got changed herself and sat down stairs waiting for her,

Cathy walked into the living room and plopped herself next to Catherine, she fidged with her fingers while catherine was putting on some quiet show, well a show on low volume.
She didn't know how to ask for affection
'why would she wanna give you affection, you just ruined her day, everyone's day! "
That voice hurt Cathy and Catherine had noticed and put her arms up laying back,
" come here mija"she whispered and Cathy's eyes bloated up to catherine, she didn't wanna fight and just wanted to give in but the voices,
'She doesn't love you, your just annoying, she says your like a daughter just to get you to shut up!'
Tears started forming in her eyes and Catherine sat up and put a hand on her cheek making her look near her,
"I know they're loud snowflake-" the nickname made Cathy wonder "-but just try and ignore them. I know it's hard but trust me, I think after the day today you just need some cuddles and hot chocolate" Cathy nodded before letting herself melt into catherine imbrace as she lay back down, Cathy cuddled up against her, nuzzling into her like a kitten,
Catherine smiled down at her daughter and just let herself sleep aswell as she had been up all night doing something (SoMeOnE?) and she felt Cathy's breathing go slow and let herself sleep aswell. While her arms were around Cathy, as if she as going to walk off.

When the others came home they found them 2 still cuddling and they just left them there whole Maria came back and put the blankets over them instead of on their legs,
She smiled at the 2 and walked back into her room, she sees Bessie laying on her bed and just jumped onto the bed beside bess and hugged against her 
Everything was alright. They had each other
