In hindsight, this organization which was a lot more personal and smaller would probably have been the better choice and I shouldn't have insisted on all the subjects I wanted to take and just opted to have a few I might not have been as interested in. As the red flags were adding up, I should have asked to switch to another host-family and coordinators before leaving and not waited until I was there. It would have definitely been possible for someone to come get me from the airport or make sure I am with my parent's friends and that I am ok, but nobody did, I should have questioned why it was not possible at the time.

Tipps:

- Get a SimCard at Walmart the carrier is called Lucky Mobile and they are the cheapest you can find, you simply have to load it up every month. (tiny tipp: get mobile data, if you get lost you will be so happy you have it, even though it is a little bit more expensive)

- Make sure that the agency you are going with has someone where you are going that will be your coordinator (same town).

-If you have issues, voice them

- Go to a large city over a small, rural one
