After my exchange was officially over, as mentioned my parents picked up and we traveled to other places in Canada. One of those places was the biggest city in the province I was in, aka where one of the headquarters of the Canadian Organization are. Without having had an appointment, my parents and I showed up at their office and asked to see the partial owner (the one that came all the way to where I was and gave me pages worth of rules I had "broken"). The moment he saw me he started getting visibly nervous, during the meeting we had with him, he shared that he had not even been aware of things such as my parents having requested to get all parties involved onto a skype call in order to talk. Personally, I think he was afraid that we were going to sue the company. They made notes on what we told them may need improvements and that was the end of it for the Canadian organization.
