chapter 15

Ian's p.o.v

"something happened at the park" Anna said worry evident in her eyes

"what do you mean something happened???!! is Ella ok??"

i say now worried as well as chris and orlando

"Ella is fine ..she's sleeping now" Anna said trying to calm me down

" then what the hell happened??" i ask her calming down a bit now that i know that my sister is unharmed

" we were talking when she spaced out ...i asked her what's wrong..she said that she saw a man looking at her ...she said he was familiar ...i looked at the direction she pointed at there was a man indeed but he seemed to notice that we saw him and he ran away "

" wait ... so you are telling me that none of the guards noticed the man?" 

 i ask angrily  ....am i hiring idiots ?? how are they supposed to protect my sister when they didn't even notice a grown up man staring at her ...idiots

" Ella thought that the man looked familiar ?? " Orlando asked confused 

" yeah ... i saw him too he did look familiar ...actually you all know him " Anna said

i was just about to ask her who the man was when i heard a loud scream coming from upstairs ...my sister's scream

we all run as fast as we can towards her room taking our guns out in the process 

we throw her door opened and aim our guns around looking for any danger 

but there's no one there ..no danger ...my sister is having a night mare ...i thought we were over this....

" mommy wake up please !!!" 

"Ella !! wake up baby it's a dream " i say trying to calm her down 

" NO NO NO NO I WANT MOMMY !!"  she cries louder  thrashing in the bed 

i hold her hands down before she hurts herself  chris and orlando holding her legs down 

" Ella please please calm down honey it's just a bad dream please "  i whisper softly in her ear hoping to calm her down 

" please open your pretty eyes Ella come on honey "  i continue with the same soft voice 

she starts to calm down ..her eyes opening slowly 

" bubby ??"  she says looking around

" right here sweetheart ...i am right here " i say  removing the hair stuck to her face away

the moment her eyes land on me she starts to cry again ..i help her sit up and hug her to me tightly 

"it's ok baby ...it's ok i am here now " i say softly trying to calm her down 

i look around Chris and Orlando in the far corner in the room with tears in there eyes and Anna in nowhere to be seen ...she knows something that I don't know

i look back at Ella to find her sleeping again ...hopefully without nightmares this time 

i lay her on the bed and cover her " i will sleep with her tonight ..i can't leave her "i say to chris and orlando  tired from this long day

" we will stay too she's our sister we are not leaving her " orlando says determination in his voice 

" what triggered that nightmare again.....she was fine for so long?" chris said concerned 

" i don't  know ...i can't think of anything right now ....let's talk about this tomorrow with Anna...she didn't get to continue what happened at the park "

" yeah....she knows something we don't ...she knows the man i think ...she said she saw him too"

orlando said

" ok ok enough let's sleep now it's been a long day of all of us and ella is sleeping i don't want her to wake up so lets just talk tomorrow please" i say going under the covers beside Ella 

we close the light  and everyone is left with his own thoughts
