I woke up early today though I didn't have much sleep ....thinking about the company and the challenges that I will face there ....doubting my abilities in managing the company though I've been trained my whole life for this moment ...but it came so soon with no one here to help me not even Xavier ...it all depends on me now to make decisions that will affect everyone

I shake the negative thoughts out of my head and head downstairs to find Orlando and Chris are already awake and Martha preparing breakfast

"good morning," I say taking a seat beside Chris

" good morning dear ..breakfast will be ready in a minute "

" good morning are you ready? you have a big day ahead of you " said Orlando

" yes I am ready ..scared but ready "

"and why are you scared ?? you've been training for this for a long time "
said Chris

" will yes but .... the idea of me making vital decisions is nerve-racking "

I say worry evident in my voice then suddenly Chris hit me in the head with a spoon

" ow!!! what was that for ??!!"

I say rubbing the sore spot on my head

" Because you seem to forget a lot that we are here to help you...thought that will refresh your memory, "Chris said glaring at me

" ian ...be more confident in yourself dear like Chris said you 've been training for this have some faith in yourself," Martha said patting my shoulder

"I just don't want to ruin anything "

" oh you will get the hang of it in no time I have faith in you "

" and things are not that bad trust me ...we took care of some problems in your stead when Ella was in the hospital .....today you will meet the heads of the departments do some paperwork and we will be with you in the meetings so you will be fine ... I already made a schedule for today," Orlando said

" Thanks for the help guys," I say grateful to have such a loving family

" good morning," says a very happy Ella kissing my cheeks

"good morning baby you slept well??"

" yeah ..no bad dreams "

" that's good baby," I say kissing her forehead

" good morning dear...here is your plate your favorite chocolate pancakes," Martha said giving Ella her plate and then handing each one of us our plates and we started eating

" you excited to go to the mall today honey ?" Martha asked Ella

" yes really excited I will buy lots and lots of decorations all pink like my bunny "
she said nearly jumping from her seat with excitement

" yes and e can buy you some new clothes what do you think?" Martha said

" yes!!! bubby will come right?? with ris and Lando ??"

she asks looking at me with wide eyes

" baby ..we talked about this yesterday remember ??? bubby,ris and Lando have work "

" oh... I forgot ..." she said her excitement from earlier now gone replaced by sadness

" how about this when we come we will help you repaint and decorate your room and then we can go eat ice cream ?? " Chris said trying to make her happy again

" do you promise "
" we pinky promise "

just then we heard the doorbell " oh this must be rosa and Sophia "

rosa and Sophia help Martha with the housekeeping staff

" good morning Mr ian welcome back "
said rosa she's in her thirties
"good morning Mr ian... I am sorry about what happened, "said Sophia
Sophia is in her forties
they are kind-hearted just like Martha

before I could reply Ella hides behind me ...she doesn't like meeting new people ..not anymore they've been here but she doesn't remember them much since we didn't use to come here a lot

" bad people," she said in a hushed voice

" no baby .... they are good people ..they are Marthas' friends, " I say patting her head

" Hello, Ella... I am rosa ..and this is my friend Sophia nice to meet you," rosa said waving her hands

" it's ok Ella... say hi, " I say softly trying to coax her out of her shell

" Hello I am Ella," she said shyly

" good morning rosa and Sophia nice to meet you "

" sir the car is ready," the driver says from the doorway

" Please take care of Ella...Martha call me if anything happens "

' don't worry ian go now so you won't be late "

" bye baby I will see you soon ok ?? be good," I said hugging her

" bye bubby " and with that, we leave

we arrive at the company and take the elevator to my office

the office is exactly how mum left it modern and light-colored

" if you want to change anything just say," said Chris

NEVER I will change it ...it makes me feel like she's here with me

" no... I like it just the way it is "

" ok then let's get this day started shall we ?" said Orlando

after soo, many meetings things became more clear and I have a clear idea of the problems we are facing

someone took a huge amount of money and the person is not known they've been searching and it leads to nothing

"I say we stop the search ... we are wasting sources and time and we need both ..we don't have the luxury of time nor the money ..... we need to produce more and make new deals ....also there are companies that mum helped them a lot I think we can ask for their help "

"I already called their CEO's they are more than happy to help since your mother helped them a lot and scheduled a meeting with them first thing in the morning," Chris said

" thank you, Chris "
" it's my job don't worry "

" ok we finished for today tomorrow we will start with the meetings with the CEO's of the other companies also there is my father's friend Dante he called and want to meet with you he can help us a lot and my father trusted him greatly "

" that's great ...that wasn't soo bad after all and many people want to help so that's good"

" you did a great job today ...already coming up with solutions," Chris said

and with that, we leave the office eager to go home
