XAVIER P.O.V

I arrive at the company earlier than usual determined  to find the culprit I enter mine and Karan"s floor our offices are close to each other ... I hear him shouting at the phone which is not new ... as the time passes the shouting gets louder
"NOW XAVIER KNEW SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH THE STOCKS AND TOLD HER YOU, IDIOT
IF THIS IS NOT FIXED YOU ARE DEAD"

WHAT!!! KARAN IS BEHIND ALL THIS??
but how...why?  but now is not the time... I storm out of the office and race to my car I have to warn isabella I heard him and what I heard is more than enough buy is isabella going to believe me?? she loves him so much .. it will be hard ... but she trusts me too right?? I have to try ... I can"t let her fall into his trap

I arrive at her mansion and the security let me in I don"t see Karan's car anywhere so that"s good I ring the bell and the door is opened by isabella

"I need to talk to you quickly please " 

"what's wrong ??!" she says alarmed  " please isabella I will tell you everything in the office please "

KARAN'S P.O.V

after I end the call I know I need to talk to Xavier ..to see if he knew more things he should be in his office by now I knock but I hear nothing so I open the door to be met with an empty office .... strange he is always on time

I ask the secretary " I saw him arrive earlier than usual today but after a while, he stormed out just like that"

arrived earlier than usual?? and stormed out just like that?? did he hear my phone call ??.... he could have I was shouting and screaming
HE STORMED OUT TO TELL ISABELLA???????!!! OH NO NO NO
I race to the car and quickly drive to the mansion
did he tell her ? did he even hear my phone call?? if he told her did she believe him?? all these thoughts run through my mind during my race to the mansion
when I arrive I find Xavier's car parked outside  OH NO !!!

I search the house when suddenly the door to the office is opened and Xavier comes out followed by isabella
if Xavier knows anything about the call he doesn't show it .... or maybe he didn't ??

" oh hello Karan sorry I came  unannounced  but isabella wanted my help with somethings regarding the new deal " he is lying .. the secretary said he stormed out of the office  and this is not a valid reason to do so
now I am sure he knows and sure that he told her ... but I play along anyway

" oh com on Xavier you know you are welcomed in the mansion any time"

" thank you, Karan... I am afraid I should leave now... goodbye isabella ..take care  " and with that, he left

now that they know ... I have to do something about it. I need to think

" Honey I forgot something in the car I will go bring it ok?"
"ok," she says giving me a forced smile

ISABELLA'S P.O.V

what Xavier told me is crazy... it can't be ..but father trusted Xavier and I do ...he never let me down maybe he misunderstood the whole situation??
I love Karan... it will not harm to make sure right?? as long as he doesn't know that I doubted him

Karan comes back after a while "so what did Xavier tell you about the new deal?" he says

"I was just worried about the company we are going to make the deal with ... it is a new company but he researched it and trusted sources that the company is growing fast  and is gaining money  so it's safe"

" that's good "       " he also had updates about the problem with the stocks ...he said he they had some leads and are going to catch the culprit soon hopefully," she says while searching my eyes  but here is the thing...she is so bad at hiding her emotions she's like an open book ...so easy to read  while I am so good at this  right now I can see the doubt in her eyes ..which proves that Xavier told her ..and she is trying to test me

" that's good  love I hope he catches the culprit soon so I can kill him "

she looked scared for a second but quickly hid it with a forced smile

"I think I will go for a ride in my car you know? to relieve some stress" she says
" sure love .. you've been stressed out lately, " I say smiling

ELLA'S P.O.V {WHEN XAVIER LEFT}

mom is stressed out... I can see it on her face .. she looks like she aged ten years she is always funny and carefree smiling even when she's faced with many problems so seeing her this sad I telling me that something is really wrong I am standing in the garden surrounded  bu my thoughts when I see dad coming out of the house
"dad where are you going?" I say "I am going nowhere  honey your mum said something was wrong with the car so came to check on it "

" oh ...ok "   "I will go to my friend love ok he's sick "  "ok dad love you"

" love you dad"  "love you too honey "

I went inside the mansion to  find mom  getting ready to leave

"where are you going, mum?" I am going to drive in the town a little bit "

" Can I come with you ?? we can go to the park  and eat ice cream like old times have a mother/daughter time ?"

" oh that will be great honey it's been forever since we've done this"

I put my shoes on and we are out
it's deadly silent in the car so I decided to break it
" so mom ...you've been stressed out lately is everything ok?"

"yes honey everything is fine ...it's just a problem in the company but nothing we can't fix," she says smiling at me... I missed that smile

we fall into silence  again  .... after a few minutes of driving we can see the park but mom doesn't stop " mom ?? you passed the park"
her eyes are wide color drained from her face her feet stepping on the breaks but in vain .. the car is not stopping  a horn could be heard a blinding flashlight in my face and just like that everything went black
