Accidents Happen

Surprise - Part 4

"..ngh...." Taufan twitch his eyes open as the light from the sun shined on his face. As he tried to get up in a sitting position he was immediately strucked by a pain on his head making him laid back down with a winced.

'Ohh right, I was injured.' He thought to himself as he touches the bandages wrapping neatly on his head. After a moment of silences, he immediately covered his face in shame while letting out a muffled scream.

"Ughh.....that was so not cool." He grumbled to himself as he remembers the unintentional outburts he had during the mission. Even he didn't realise it until Thorn step in to calm him down.

He was always known for his cheerful smile and carefree attitude among his brothers, friend and even in the face of some enemies. So it was really rare to see him get that furious to someone, it was more of Hali and Blaze style, not his.

"Well I guess this isn't the first time...." he sighed.

It was indeed not the first time he had this outburst, as the last time he had it was from a fight that leaves a deep scar and trauma to him and his brothers.

They're battle with Rettakka.

The fight that almost caused their death.

"That ancient monkey..." Taufan shivers everytime he remembered that day. Even saying his name leaves a bitter taste in his mouth.

Even though he know it was all over, but every now and then he could still feel the painful sensation when their power were absorbed. The feeling of emptiness consumed him as his cold body touched the floor.

The last thing he saw was Gopal and the other pulling their three brothers to escaped before his scenery ultimately went black.

After that he couldn't remember much other than waking up later on a bed surrounded by noisy machine. But before he manage to discern his surrounding, he was straight up being crushed by Blaze who was hugging him tightly while bawling his eyes out.

"Wha-k....Blaze?" Was the only thing he could spoke at the moment as he was having a really sore throat and was still disoriented by the situation before him. So the only thing that his confused mind can do at the moment was to soothe Blaze who was at the moment spouting a series of gibberish by patting him on the back.

After a while, Blaze finally calmed down and offered Taufan a glass of water to quench his thirst. After drinking it, Taufan took this moment to asked him on what had happened after he blanked out. And judging by the smile on Blaze's face, he could already tell that they came out victorious.

"Then what about the others?" He asked.

After hearing that, Blaze's smile instantly quiver. "Well...they..."

Before Blaze manage to finish his sentence a piercing scream interrupted them. As Taufan tried to get off the bed, he was instantly stopped by Blaze.

"Blaze that was-"
"I know, I'm curious too. But Gempa said to not let you move- ughhh!!
"Blaze?"
"...Let's just go there."

They both then went through the hallway with Blaze supporting Taufan's arm. As they approaching the said room, the screaming gets louder making Taufan gulped nervously. Blaze then motion him to keep quite and observe it through the glass window.

As he sneakily approced the window, he was immediately staggered. There he saw Solar screaming and struggling with a couple of doctors. He could only guessed that Solar was having a major panic attack as the doctor was ready to sedate him but to no avail it was useless, as Solar became more aggitated and prevents anyone from coming closer to him.
