↳Witches before Wizards {2}

I put down my tea as I looked over to Luz feeling sad, I had a small frown on my face as she looked down to her own reflection from her tea

"Huh.. I have a quest" the wizard said as Luz threw her tea down and carried me up " a quest!!?" My eyes widened as my hands were on her shoulders holding it tightly as I thought for a second that she'd drop me

The wizard cleared up his throat "you didn't let me finish. I have a question," he paused for a second "oh.." Luz mumbled

The wizard then continued to finish his sentence " Would you like to go on a quest??" He asked with those Jaz hands

"Yes!!" I looked up at her then the Wizard as he pulled out a scroll "I might have just the thing"

He lets it roll down all the way "the prophecy speaks of two young human girls, who claims the celestial staff and free this world from an ancient evil. Perhaps thou hath cometh here for a reason"

Luz looked at me signaling me to take the scroll, I gave in and did it anyways

"Perhaps we have" she gasped saying those " should you both believed yourself worthy to attempt this quest?"

Luz placed my down as I gave her the scroll "SO Worthy" Luz said focusing her eyes on the scroll while following the wizard

I looked around trying to find king, I saw him looking around "psst king let's go" I called "oh yeah" he said "that wizard is really trying to get us do those things huh?" I asked pointing my thumb at them

"I know and it's kinda annoying me now" we walked towards them as king grabbed the bag

"Big story awesome anyway your food is gone and we are too" king said. I walked next to Luz as I took a peek on the scroll

"Yeah we have to go" I said "and go back for this agentive quest!!! I'm in!" Luz said smiling as king's and my eyes widened a bit

"Wonderful!" The wizard said as we got out of his WonDeRfUl castle and went back to the owl house

Luz slides the swords case in as I basically used a yo-yo to not get bored, Luz actually packed her stuff for this 'adventure'

My eyes were glued to the yo-yo as it goes up and down, my attention then started to go to Luz as she spoke " So king, what kind of chosen one should I be?" She asked as both of her hand were on her cheeks

"*Yawn* huh?? What??" King asked

Luz grabbed her Azura book " should I be full optimistic and Goodness like the good witch Azura" she then moves the book to her left side "or should I be a bad girl chosen one with black nail polish and the mysteriously withdrawn attitude" her expression changed while talking

She opened her book and starts to make it look like it was talking "I act like I don't care, but I secretly do~"

I giggled slightly when Eda came in the door " oh you guys are talking about bad girls?" I looked at the thing she was holding, I-it was a.. hand!? The bone is also revealing-

I felt like almost puking but I held myself together 'uuAagH.. gross..." It sent shivers down my spine

"Wait.. what's going on?." Eda walked in putting the hand on her shoulders "Eda tell Luz how dumb wizards are" king stood up putting one hand on his hip

"Ugh wizards are the worst. Never trust a man in casual drapery, why?" Eda looked at King

"Your wizard client told Luz and (Y/N) but I think it was mostly Luz.. haha!." he started to wheeze while trying to talk " that their the chosen one! Ha ha ha!!" He started laughing

"Wait wait (Y/N) and Luz?" Eda started to smile like she was about to laugh. But then ended up laughing harder

" He even gave her a map!  HAHAHA!!!" King laughed, I looked over at Luz as she felt embarrassed and hid her face by the book, I gasped slightly and wrapped an arm around her shoulder bringing her close to me as I hugged her

I felt bad, I did feel a little embarrassed but Luz..

"Lemme see this now" Eda got up and walked towards us, I grabbed the scroll and handed it over to her

She then starts to check "you didn't think this was real did you?" Eda said "what?" Luz stood up while I was still sitting down

"This map is bunk, there's no lake with a celestial staff on the boiling Isles. I would have stolen it ages ago"

Luz looked down "ah don't worry, a couple more months here and you won't look like such a mark" Eda messed her hair up

Luz took a deep breath "Can I have some time alone.. with (Y/N).. she makes me more comfortable so please.." Luz said pushing Eda's hand away

Eda shrugged and walked off as king followed her

They closed the door, Luz looked at me as I spread my arms open as she walked towards me and hugged me tightly

"Sigh.. maybe they were right.. "  Luz mumbled "well maybe.. she has been living here in years" I said as we both scooted our way on the wall under the window

Luz looked down in the scroll "huh?.." I looked over as saw a message on the scroll "One??" I said reading the light blue message "that wasn't their before wasn't it?" I said " yeah"

She lifted her hand on the light as all of the light blue secret message appeared

"That path will only appear to the worthy.." Luz readed out loud, she then gasped "that's why Eda couldn't see it! But instead we can!" She looked at me

"But.. am I really Worthy?.. are we really Worthy?" She asked "I-.." I couldn't say anything about it

The window then opened, the wind passing in and blew the scroll towards the book as it witched the page to the picture where Azura had her staff

"We'll never know unless we tried!" She pulled me up and locked our hands together "let's go on our first adventure together" she said

I thought about it for a second "alright.. let's do it.." I said smiling

' this wizard thinks he can fool me that easily? Hah, well I couldn't actually say no to Luz.. besides it has been pretty boring here, I do have to keep an eye on her, I have no other choice '

"Hey Luz .. (Y/N).." Eda opened the door revealing no teenage girls in the room "oh nuts"

"Hootie where'd they go??" Eda asked "hoot hoot if you want the answer that you seek, solve my riddle with in a week–"

Eda then hits the house with one punch creating a crack on the side of the wall and some parts falling on top of hootie

"OW!! Okay okay! They went to the forest towards bones burrow.. sheesh!" Hootie went back to his place

"Ugh.." Eda sighed
