Dear Lux,
As you know I was assigned the mission. To no surprise you ignored me, but your girlfriend was very nice. She is warm like a sunny day and shines with every word she says. I can't help but compare, I'm so dull and lifeless. It's not like I tried to be anything else really, it was easier that way. I guess I'm not brave enough to be myself around you anymore.
When I arrived she gave me a full tour and you left. She talked about how in love with you she was.
I caught the Senator who turned out to be a shapeshifter, so it all ended well.
I couldn't help but notice the way you smile when you're around her. I bet every time she smiles it gives you butterflies. I hope you're happy every time you stroll through the garden and talk. It's selfish of me to hope but, hope you aren't as happy as when you talked to me.
But nonetheless, I hope you're happy.
But I also hope that some things make you think of me...
