BACKGROUND: Julian Remington was born to Nina and Johnathon Remington, along with his twin sister Analiese, on December 11th, 1980 in Saratov, Russia. He lived there until he was 12 years old, when he and his sister moved to England to attend Oxford University. He and Analiese graduated college at age 16 with PHD's (his for Biology and hers for Genetics and Genetic Engineering). They were both recruited into HYDRA under Emma Becker, a renowned scientist. Analiese served as her assistant until 1999 when she resigned, but Julian continued to work for Becker. In 2000 he assigned to Soroya Roberts, a girl with shapeshifting powers. He worked with the girl on controlling her abilities for the next three years. In 2003, after spending a year with Soroya in Siberia, Julian tried to help Soroya escape her HYDRA captors, but was unsuccessful and was killed as a result of his valiant effort.
