BACKGROUND: Killian Balor was born to unknown parents in the year 49 BBY on an unknown planet. He is very secretive about his past, little is known about where he comes from and he wants to keep it that way. At some point during the reign of the Empire he moved to Cardellia, one of the fourteen planets Taris oversees. In the aftermath of the battle to reclaim Taris and the Empire's downfall, Killian decided to take over the trade ports on Cardellia and Bretta and try to reestablish them. This is where we meet him in the third book.
