BACKGROUND: Hassan Deshra was born to Selene Deshra and an unknown man in the year 1030 BBY on the planet Mandalore. After the fall of the Old Republic and the rise of the Republic, the Deshra family took power of Mandalore; making Selene Deshra the duchess of Mandalore. Hassan grew up as the marques of Mandalore, learning about ruling under the instructions of Selene and his step mother Aria. On the day of Adenna Daulton's coronation, Selene sent Hassan to Taris as a sign of good will. This visit wasn't very well received, but Hassan took a liking to the new queen, and she took a liking to him. This is where we meet Hassan in Star Crossed.
