BACKGROUND: Alex Roberts was born to Jospeh and Anika Roberts on January 23rd, 1986 in Hamburg, Germany. He lived there with his parents and younger sister until 2000 when he and his parents were kidnapped and forced to become a HYDRA test subjects. He was then separated from his parents and refused to comply with his superiors, forcing their hand to not make him an active agent. For the better part of 14 years he was used as an executioner of sorts; his powers being used to dispose of prisoners. After the fall of HYDRA, Alex's sister Soroya found him and rescued him from his prison, which is where we meet him in the first book.
