It was a fairly nice day in the Boiling Isles, the weather was clear and everything was peaceful, as much as it could be here. A young witch thought it was an excellent day, having aced her potion tests, no distractions and not one ridiculous antic her sister could pull off-
"LILIIITH!"
Ah, she spoke too soon...
Another orange haired witch yelled bolting down the school's hallway, in her arms she carried a small skull and a few half empty bottles that kept slipping from her grasp. She could hear one of Hexide's teachers call after her following not too far behind, Lilith sighed stepping out of the way to avoid getting pushed.
"Thanks sis!" The girl chuckled as she passed by, only to be pulled by the hoddie her cape making her jerk back and drop the rest of the glass bottles onto the tiled floor. "What the-?! Hey!"
"Thank me later..." Lilith mumbled as the teacher approached them two. The other gulped looking at the small skull, undecided where to hide it she quickly shoved it into her hair.
"Miss Edalyn, you know very well that this kind of behavior is not permitted in the school grounds." The teacher said frowning. "Disrupting classes, breaking windows AND creating unrequired explosions... your little stunt with the beasts in the potion classroom has caused some serious damage."
"I know, I know, not cool." Edalyn crossed her arms. Although it is on a close level to cool, she thought.
"Report to Principal Bump's office, now." The teacher said as he turned to leave. Edalyn's eyes widened, normally she wouldn't care a bit about taking a trip to the office, but she was warned that their parents would be called and the consequences did worry her. She looked up to her sister mouthing a few words, Lilith understood rolling her eyes.
"Mr Alavine, we shouldn't bother the principal for matters as these, I'll talk to my sister." The young witch tugged on the other's hoodie, "To make sure she doesn't try to do it again."
"... I suppose you could, you are our best student." He nodded approvingly then made his way back to the classroom. As soon as he walked around the corner Edalyn pulled away and sighed in relief.
"Phew, that was close... You do know I'd probably try it again right?" She smiled putting a hand on her hip.
"You could at least be more discreet." Her sister shook her head.
"But then who'd know the master planner behind the act?" Edalyn exclaimed.
"That's the point- anyway, all that for a tiny bone? What are you going to do with it?"
"Well..." She fumbled in her hair to pull out the skull. "I dunno, looks rad." This made the other orange haired girl groan as Edalyn laughed. "Gotta go, I left a box of boiling ants somewhere-"
They both turned at the sudden screams from another classroom.
"Oh, there they are! See ya later!" The girl runned off with a grin on her face. Lilith watched her leave and sighed, sometimes, she just couldn't believe they were actually sisters...

Edalyn stretched her arms and plopped down on the small sofa of her room slightly exhausted, there's never enough pranks for one day but doing several and also going on an errand tired her out. She eyed the small dark furred demon as he made his way to curl up on top of her stomach, the witch smiled patting his back. It had only been a week since she successfully managed to bring to life the demon trying various spells and the previously taken skull.
"Nyeh! No petting." The demon spoke in a squeaky loud voice and pushed her hand away with his leg making Edalyn laugh.
"It's not my fault you're so darn cuddly." He looked at her with a knowing frown. "What? You're the first demon I've ever invoked." She gave a shrug. "One day King, you won't mind."
"Ha, yeah right." The demon in question said closing his eyes again. He let out a small yawn. "So what was that key with an eye for? You looked like you really wanted to have it."
"What? This ol' thing?" Edalyn smirked pulling it out from nowhere, the small demon gasped surprised. "Yeah I managed 'a little switch' before we left the tent, the other key might not be as convincing but hey I still have it." She twirled it between her fingers looking at it curiously. "Hm, I do wonder what this thing exactly does..."
The witch left it on a table beside and rested her head on her arms, soon enough she'll figure it out, for now a good nap was what she needed.
