Chapter 31:

Harry's POV:

Today was New Year's Eve, but until midnight it was just going to be another lazy day.

We wanted to wait until after New Years to tell Louis mum incase she wasn't supportive, at least it wouldn't ruin everyone's day.

Everyone was outside and Louis and I were just cuddling on the couch

He grabbed his phone and turned up the Christmas music playing over the speaker in the kitchen, standing up

"May I have this dance?" He asked

I nodded and giggled stans up and placing my hand on his waist, interlocking fingers with him. He rested his other hand on my chest and we swayed back and forth to the music.

I spun him around a few times then pulled him closer to my chest. He layed his head on my chest while we quietly swayed to the music in the background

We were interrupted by Louis phone ringing. He pulled it out and returned his head back to my chest after

"Hey Stan what's up?" He said through the phone

He nodded subtly and spoke again

"Yeah sure, you can meet Harry too, see you in 10" he said hanging up the phone

I gave him a confused look and had just smiled

"My old friend from before the Xfactor, his name is Stan. He invited us to his house for a while to catch up" he explained, but he had an odd look on his face

"Cool, can't wait to meet him. What's wrong, you look sad" I reply

"I just.....he's kinda" he said quietly

"What's wrong baby?" I said furrowing my brows and cupping his cheeks so he would look up at me

"Hes just kinda homophobic" he said in a small voice

I frowned and pulled him into my chest, kissing the top of his head

"We don't have to tell him, we can if you want to but we can just say were friends. It wouldn't be fun to lose a friend because of something as silly as their sexuality" I said reassuringly

"Yeah I geuss. I'm not sure what to do though because him and I have been friends for a long time, but at the same time I feel like I should tell him, and if he doesn't accept us then maybe I shouldn't be friends with him" he said shrugging his shoulders

"Do whatever feels right, I'll support whatever you decide 100%" I said rubbing circles on his back

He took his head off my chest and smiled with his nose scrunched

"This is why I love you" he said giving me a small kiss

"I love you too sunshine" I whispered hugging him tightly to my chest

Louis quickly popped his head outside to tell his mum we were going to Stans house, then we grabbed out jackets and hopped into Louis's car.

The whole drive, he kept his hand resting ontop of my thigh, only moving it to switch gears. We got to Stans house and I unbuckled my seatbelt. I looked over at Louis who looked worried, and deep in thought

"It's going to be okay sunshine, if he says anything bad we can just leave okay?" I said rubbing the back of his hand

"Okay" he replied with a soft smile

We got out of the car and I took him into my arms, giving him a warm cuddle and a kiss ontop of his head, on his feathery hair.

"Ready" I ask
