Everything was black, a dark inky void. Sounds were muffled and disoriented. Shapes were blurred and distorted and movements felt impossible.

Slowly, as if trying to turn pitch black to pure white drop by drop, the world came into focus. Pain flared in my eye, my head started pounding and I felt exhausted.

I could hear someone talking but I couldn't focus on what was being said. I could feel whoever it was stroking the back of my hand, it felt comforting and warming.

Trying to open my eyes, I winced at the blinding light that crashed against my eye. For some reason, one of my eyes was covered but was in a different pain.

Looking around the room, I recognised I was in the infirmary. I was on a soft bed and someone was next to me. Shifting my head to glance at the person, I couldn't help but smile at him. I opened my mouth to speak but ended up coughing violently.

"Hey, here." Toshi pushed a cold glass against my lips as I greedily gulped down the liquid inside. I let out a small whine when the glass was taken away but instead focused on the hand the rubbed circled on my back.

"What happened?" I tilted my head, hoping to lessen the pounding in my head.

"You overused your Quirk and collapsed," Toshi explained, sighing when he saw me wince, the memories flooding back. "Are you okay?"

Shaking my head, I felt tears start to prickle at my eyes. "I- Is S-Shota..."

"He is fine, a little hurt but alive." Toshi pulled me up and close to his chest. He started to run his hands through my hair, instantly soothing me.

"What about everyone else?"

"They are fine, a few cuts and bruises, maybe a broken bone or two but no one died." Toshi let out a loud laugh when he saw me frown.

"What happened after I passed out?"

Toshi let out a sad sigh before giving me a small smile. "After you passed out, Todoroki and I had just arrived in the plaza. We had arrived in the landslide zone, of course Todoroki froze almost every villain instantly meaning I didn't have to fight. I remember seeing your beam of light while Todoroki was interrogating a villain and running off to find you."

Speeding into the fog, Shinso and Todoroki looked around frantically. Shinso swore he could hear his own voice but he hadn't spoken. Glancing at Todoroki, Shinso let out a small sigh of relief. He wasn't going crazy.

All of a sudden, the fog lifted and the voices went away. Shinso could see Midoriya unconscious in Aizawa's arms.

"So sad, he tried so hard. Oh well, might as well kill a few brats while we're here. It might lure All Might out." Tomoura reached out his crusty hand to finish off the teacher.

"Do not fear! I am here!"

"I've been waiting, hero. You're worthless trash!" The other villains and thugs were awing All Might who had burst through the main entrance with a frown on his face.

All Might practically disappeared from sight, he picked up Aizawa and Midoriya, holding them both close and moving them far away from any danger. "I'm sorry Aizawa," All Might whispered while putting them down. All Might jumped off and easily got Mineta and Tsu away from the villains.

"Asui, you need to get out of here and take those two with you. But fear not! Carolina..." All Might launched away before Tsu could say anything. He pushed down against the Nomu, attacking it with a cross like pattern. The Nomu tried to grab All Might but he ducked under and punched it in its stomach. "Seriously? No effect at all?"

"It has no effect because he's got shock-absorption If you want to really damage Nomu, you'd be better off slowly ripping him apart, piece by piece. Not that he'll give you that chance," Tomoura monologued from the sideline, showing off the Quirk with pride.

All Might seemed to smile at the information, Tomoura was an idiot for revealing all that. He wrapped his arms around Nomu's stomach and flipped him over him, burying the villain into the ground.

Instead of getting hurt, Nomu went through a portal and duck it's unusually large claws into All Might's stomach, luckily hitting All Might's injury.

"So you hoped to drive him into the concrete and seal his movements? It wouldn't have worked. Nomu is as powerful as you. Well done, Kurogiri. Perfect timing, really."

All Might let out a scream of pain as the claws dig further into the flesh. "Impressive for first-time offenders, but prepare yourselves."

"I can't say I much like the idea of having blood and guts inside my gate but, if they're yours, I'll happily oblige. You see, it's Nomu's job to get around that blinding speed of yours and hold you down. And it's my job to close the warp gate on you while you're halfway through and immobilized. Thereby cutting you in two."

Before anyone else could attack or threaten All Might, Shinso shouted as loud as he could, "Stop this now!"

Todoroki looked at him like he was crazy but Shinso walked out calmly. He almost looked as if this was any other day- guess it might be as he is the son of two pro heroes.

"Who are you?"

"That is not important. Who are you?"

"I am Tomoura..." Before the villain could finish his obviously prepared speech, he felt his mind slip and become the property of the young boy.

"Place four of your fingers on your neck and order your dogs off," Shinso ordered causing the rest of the villains to look over.

As per instructions, Tomoura curled his own fingers around his neck and spoke unemotionally, "stop attacking."

Both Nomu and Kurigiri hesitated before letting All Might go. The older hero knelt down, holding onto his side before turning to look at Shinso. "Good job, young man."

All Might turned to arrest the villains but before he could, Kurigiri attacked. He created a quick portal making All Might fall from the sky. He quickly went to take Tomoura far away from the man controlling him while Nomu launched forward.

Todoroki pushed forward, throwing Shinso to the side before freezing over the villain. All Might punched down, the pressure realised stopped him from becoming hero pizza.

"Without the main villains and their power house being frozen over, the rest gave up pretty quickly, letting the rest of the heroes arrest them," Hitoshi finished off, only just noticing that Izuku had fallen asleep.

Hitoshi couldn't help but smile as he looked down at the boy in his arms. Izuku had curled up so his head rested against Hitoshi's chest and his fist gripped onto HItoshi's shirt, holding onto the other in his sleep. Izuku had a blissful smile on his face, a rare thing with the smaller boy. He looked so cute like this.

Uncurling Izuku's fingers, Hitoshi laid down the smaller boy. Hitoshi let out a joyful laugh while watching him curl in on himself. Walking to the door, Hitoshi turned off the night and gave a final smile to Izuku before leaving.
