Chapter 9( Caroline)

I was getting ready for the date "awww you look so pretty" Elaine said coming in and hugging me "thanks" I said hugging her back and then putting on my lipstick and walking down stairs he was there a minute later "you look beautiful" he said as we walked down the street, he held my hand, I wasn't sure if I should if let him but I might as well we only have a few days left. we walked into the restaurant and instantly got a table, it was nice and kind of romantic "I'm sorry, for being an idiot and listening to Jack" I said "don't worry about it, he persuades people into believing anything" he said "well speak of the devil" I said glancing at the door "are you kidding me" Aidan said as Jack sat down next to him and Beth "so what are you guys doing here?" I asked looking at Beth "oh come Caroline, you didn't think we were going to let you go off on a date without spying did you?" Beth said smiling "what do you mean we?" I asked and then I saw the rest of them walk in I looked at Aidan and he started laughing as did I "why don't we just get out of this stuffy place" he said "yeah I think that's a good idea" I said and we all left going back to the boys house and that started a poker game "Ladies don't get upset if you lose, we play like professionals" Jack said and we looked at each other "trust me, we won't be the ones crying" I said with a sweet smile it went on and gracefully one by one the other girls purposely lost to give the boys hope and I tried to make it look as if I didn't know what I was doing but when it finally came down to Jack and I. there would be no regrets "listen Caroline we could stop now and save your pride" he said "aww sweet of you, but I hope your sake Beth lets you cry on her shoulder" I said and he looked confused as I laid down a full house and collected all the chips "how did you....." he said "you must of cheated, Aidan check her" he said and Aidan just rolled his eyes and laughed "don't take it personal Jack, I grew up with three brothers and a father and mother liked to play cards, I've known how to play poker since I was five" I said drinking some beer "fine then well play Black Jack" he said "don't you know anything more challenging?" I asked "fine then Penuckle" he said "ooo, my favorite.... unfortunately I have been told if I ever play Penuckle again... it wouldn't be pretty" I said getting up from the table and walking over to Aidan who was chopping food up "do you want to play?" I asked "no, I play cards" he said "why not" I asked sitting at the bar "because I get really into it and turn into a bigger jackass then Jack" he said and I laughed "now why are you the one stuck cooking?" I asked sarcastically suspicious "I'm here because their afraid of Jack giving them food poisoning and I don't trust any of them with knives or spatulas anymore" he said smiling as if remembering something "and why not?" I asked following him out to the grill "it's a long story" he said, it was sunsetting and absolutely beautiful he sat down and pulled me onto his lap and we kissed, I wrapped my arms around his neck and laid my head on his shoulder.... we leave on Saturday which means I only have Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and Friday only four days left.... "Why don't you spend the night with me?" he asked "ok" I said yawning... we watched the stars and kissed and kissed which lead to us going upstairs to his room and once again having sex, this time I didn't leave before he woke up... apparently everyone else had the same idea because we all saw each other in the kitchen. It was actually really cute this time Maddie and Garrett were sitting on the couch together snuggled up together, which by now wasn't unusual for them. Elaine and Henry instead of fighting over the mirror, Elaine was fixing his hair and he was messing hers up and had a big smile on his face and then she ruffled up his hair and his jaw dropped and she was smiling. Beth was flicking Jack in the ear as he did the same to her... it was so cute they looked like couples and Aidan wrapped his arms around my waist kissing me..... everything just felt perfect
