It was a quiet night in Fabletown and you were out walking it's streets. The air was cold on your skin as you tugged your jacket trying to avoid the crisp air freezing your skin. You noticed a car speed by and you saw a woman smirking out at you. It creeped you out and the quick glimpse you got made you instantly recognise the driver. Bloody Mary.
You saw her during the last case you did with Bigby, but you thought she had died? Or else your eyes were deceiving you.

You quickly pushed past that and picked up your pace trying to at least hope she doesn't follow you. You glanced behind you to see the car skid around the corner. You quickly paced around the approaching corner and saw something on the road.

You took a few steps closer and noticed it was a person lying on the ground. You quickly ran up pulling out your phone until your eyes adjusted in the darkness to notice it was Bigby on the ground. You quickly crouched next to him and lightly shuck his shoulder.

"Bigby! Bigby please tell me you're okay!" You cried shaking his shoulder quicker until a muffled curse slipped through his lips. His eyes slowly opened as his hand rubbed his temple, "ugh.. wha--what happened?... [Y/N]?" He groaned sitting up but quickly lay down when he held his stomach in pain.

"I don't know, you... I just found you here" you explained looking around you at the quiet street. You looked up at the flickering lights of some crappy looking motel called the "Open Arms".

"We should get you off the road-"

"Road? What? Oh now I remember! Some shithead hit me when I was crossing the fucking road!" He roared trying to sit up but he fell back again, "my fucking body... hurts like hell!" He exclaimed lying on the cold tarmac again.

"Bigby we need to get you up or you're going to get hit again" you smirked as you lightly placed your hand on his back to discover blood painting it, "shit you're bleeding!"

"Argh... great..." he groaned looking at your hand. You lightly placed your palm on his back as he quickly got to his feet cursing more at the pain. He looked up at the motel and to you, "bring me in there and call Swineheart..."

"Okay" you said pulling his arm around your shoulder feeling the weight of him pushing you down into the ground.

Jesus! Bigby is literally crushing me into the ground! Never thought I'd run into this on my way home... I was actually going to visit him and give him the file he gave me to finish, but never mind that now since I have to help him, again. Like last time.

I pushed open the door and struggled to carry him up the four steps that led to the main entrance. Cries of pain and muffled curses along with him complaining about killing the person who did this to him.
Typical him, gets injured and then wants to instinctually kill the person who did it. I swear if I had a nickel for every time he said that!

Once eventually dragging the ton weight of a man inside we were greeted with emptiness and dead silence. Is this an actual place?
Bigby looked at the chair and pointed to it. Good I can get this weight off me or else I'll have no back tomorrow. We shuffled to the tacky and torn sofa and I slowly sat him down.

"Thanks [Y/N]" he barely smiled and slowly shifted himself on the sofa and the position he found less painful looked hilarious to me. He was literally sitting sideways with his arm hanging off the chair.

He looked like he was paralysed.

I saw a cola machine and I instantly wanted one. All the walking I went through up to this point had made my throat go parched. Since the roads seemed deserted tonight with not one taxi patrolling!
I dug my hand into my pocket and pulled out some change and slid it into the machine. The can came rolling out the bottom as I grabbed it. I heard Bigby lighting up a cigarette behind me as I turned to face him. He eyed the can in my hand and shuck his head, "ugh that shit'll kill ya.." he said taking a puff from his ignited cigarette.
