Friends are fleeting
And family can come and go
But music is here for you
That is what I know
Through your best days
And your worst
Nobody can argue
Music's a blessing not a curse
Music brings people together
Whether they're near, or far
Unlike most things
Music does not leave scars
Somethings can hurt you
You cause you great pain
But music heals people
Through every great refrain
Music won't abandon you
It doesn't leave you behind
During your life
It'll be right by your side
Despite the struggles
And problems you face
Music stays with you
It doesn't treat you like a disgrace
So now I'm guessing
That you can tell, but
Music caught me
Before I fell
