he tries to be happy with his friends when they go out together, when he isn't cooped up in his studio, and when they come over to visit him.

hongjoong tries to keep it together, for his family.

but sometimes, he doesn't want to try. it takes too much effort to try and be happy when he is not in the first place.

but it's okay, hongjoong thinks as he washes the dirty dishes after he and his friends have cleared the food.
