"I will deduct points to those who argue with me. Now go home and study!" That was all she said before she left the room. Complaints came soon after the door was closed.

"It isn't even the exam week! Yet, they give us so many homeworks and projects due to unreasonable deadlines! I haven't still completed catching up from the days I missed," Daphgne whined as we walked out the building.

I chuckled at her and offered to teach her in the days she was absent. I'm already used to this kind of set up so it wasn't as surprising as before. I used to be so stressed about those school works that I won't even go have dinner with my family. Not eating fully caused me to be hospitalized. It was a lesson learned for me. Instead of overworking myself, I should keep a keen eye on my health and self.

"Do you want me to accompany you on the way?" She asked.

"Just wait for me here. Read these notes while I'm gone,"

"Text me when the meeting is done,"

I waved goodbye and walked my way through the Journal Room. I didn't knew I had a passion for writing until I joined Journalism when I was in grade school. II just found myself jotting down words and creating story just from a mere dream, scenario or even a quote. Daphgne was the first person to read those entries.

I recently dug out some of those papers when I was cleaning my room. Those scribbles were adorable and cringy at the same time. It was supposed to go in the trash but instead, I decided to keep it. There may be a time where I'm going to need those. You could say that I'm very sentimental person.

I arrived at the club room and was greeted by Edward. I'm relieved to see that I'm not the last one to show up despite being dismissed later than usual. I pulled out one of the seats and sat beside, Marie. My mouth gaped open when I saw that stacks of paper in front of her.

"Your teachers sure gave you hard time, Marie," Slouching back at my chair. She looked up from her phone and confusingly stared at me. I raised my eyebrow at her.

"What? Did I get the wrong idea?"

"Those papers were the ideas of mine for this year newspaper contents,"

"Huh? For the whole year?"

She nodded at me before going back to play on her phone. I could surely say that Marie works the hardest in this club. No wonder she won almost every contest she participates on. We're from the same year level but she's more advanced than me. I guess I should work harder to improve myself.

"Since everybody is here, let's start the meeting. Marie take down notes. We'll start with Justin,"

The meeting was going smoothly. There were a lot of great ideas that will surely make our newspaper for this month exciting. After our quick break, Marie went up to the front, carrying the stack of papers from before. She dropped it on the table causing a loud thud.

"So, I've compiled all the ideas I have our newspaper for the whole academic year. Please pass this on so I can start presenting," She said passing on papers.

She was like presenting her research paper. On the papers were the exact detail on how and why it must be included in the contents of the newspaper. Marie is always passionate about the things she love.

"Since we've only featured the wins of our athletes, I'm thinking how about we made a blog about how they practice, scenarios before and after competitions and their life overall as an athlete," Marie said.

We all agreed on the idea. Soon after, we are assigned to each tasks. Like always, I've got my part in the Feature Writing section. I'm texting Daphgne to tell her that our meeting was done when she banged our club room's door.
