"I didn't say yes, darling," He winked at me.
Is that how he flirts with other girls? It may work for them but not me. He sucks at it to be honest.
His friends came back with foods and he placed them in front of me. My eyes bulged wide open when I saw what kind of food they bought. The most expensive burger and spaghetti in the cafeteria. I can't even afford to buy one! This will be the very first time I'm eating as luxurious as this.
Is he going to ask for payment later?
I glared at him but he just raised his eyebrows at me confusingly. He was already eating as the food made his cheeks chubbier. His lips are now covered with the oil from the burger which made it glossier than usual.
I looked away at him. Did I just admired and blushed at him at the same time? Snap out of your thoughts, Athena! He's making your supposed to be normal life miserable.
"I-I can't eat this," I said, pushing away the tray.
Yuzuru looked at the food then back at me. His mouth formed a small smile before pulling the tray towards him. He cut the burger into a small size and placed the fork with food in front of my mouth.
He's initiating to feed me. Um, what? Did he just translated 'I can't eat this' to 'Feed me'? What in the world?
Blood came rushing to my cheeks due to embarrassment. Gasps can be heard across the cafeteria. I was about to push his hands away but someone called my name.
"Athena!"
I looked at the voice's direction and saw Athena leaving the cafeteria with heavy footsteps. Just from the looks of her back, she's mad. Probably at me. Who in the right mind would not be mad after seeing your ex act lovey with other girl? Her friends quickly followed her and before they completely got out of the place, they gave me a dirty look.
Guilt crept against me as the looks from the people started to get heavier and heavier. I can't stand this. I picked up my bag and stood up. Yuzuru tried to stop me but my anger was stronger so I was able to shook off his hand. And without looking back, I left the cafeteria.

The days passed on and Yuzuru is still pursuing me. Leaving notes at my table, hiring someone to give me roses every morning, offering to take me home and many other more ruckus that irritates me.
His courtship was grand that even our teachers started to tease me for it. I've rejected him every single time but he would just smile at me and say, "Well, tomorrow is another chance,"
His courting turned more attention to me more than ever. Whenever I pass the hallway, some random student would always bump into me 'accidentally'. Even at the bathroom, I would hear girls conversing about me and how I was trying to be a goody two shoes. But in reality, I'm just an attention seeker who ruined Athena's and Yuzuru's almost perfect relationship.
Daphgne was absent for days because she has to take care of her sick mother. Earlier on call, she kept on apologizing to me. Its true that I would really love her to be on my side but her mother needs her more than anyone right now. Especially, Daphgne is the only family that she got.
I dropped by at the library to borrow some books that I will need in my homework for today. The book was so heavy that I can possibly grow muscles after reaching the gate. I was at the lobby of the building when I saw Yuzuru's car and his friends not so far away.
I quickly changed the direction of my walk and pass the gate without them noticing. Hiding behind the tree, I breathe a sigh of relief when I noticed that they are still looking for me. I'm close to the gate when my phone rang.
It was Edward, our Editor in Chief. He told me about the meeting that will be held tomorrow to discuss about the future contents of the school's newspaper. I dropped the call and adjusted the books that I'm carrying.
"Need a help?"
I jumped out of shock and looked at my back and saw Yuzuru, grinning. He reached for the books but I moved it away from him.
"Let me help you," He said before reaching again.
"No. I can handle this,"
"You obviously cannot. I'll drive you ho--"
"No! No! No! There! I said it three time for you already! Can you please stop pestering me? I don't know if this courting act of yours is just a gimmick to you for me to get angry or what. But because of you, students have been gossiping and spreading groundless rumors about me. Give it up already! Go back to your Athena," I screamed.
I'm just so pissed these past few days. I can't release this feeling at home because I don't want my family to worry. I can only open up to Daphgne. But she's not here for days and I'm holding up all by myself.
I thought my sudden burst would finally knock some sense into Yuzuru's mind but he picked up the fallen books and brushed the dust out from it. He offered the book back to me and I reached for it. But he suddenly moved his hands away, making me lean into him closer.
"Have you ever heard about the tireless demon at our school rink? Who keeps on practicing day and night without stopping? That's me, sweetheart. Demons like me don't give up especially when they don't get what they want,"
