When I feel what I feel
Sometimes it's hard to tell you so
You may not be in the mood to learn
What you think you know
There are times when I find
You wanna keep yourself from me
When I don't have the strength
I'm just a mirror of what I seeBut at your best you are love
You're a positive motivating force within my life
If you ever feel the need to wonder why
Let me know, let me know
(Luhh) Let me knowWhen you feel what you feel
It's hard for me to understand
So many things have taken place before this love affair began
But if you feel more like I feel
Confusion can give way to doubt
For there are times when I fall short of what I say
What I say I'm all aboutBut at your best you are love
You're a positive motivating force within my life
Should you ever feel the need to wonder why
Let me know, let me know
(Luhh)Tell me what it is
What it is, no need to make believe
Look beyond your world
Try to find, find a place for meCuz when you're at your best you are love
You're a positive motivating force within my life
Should you ever feel the need to wonder why
Let me know, let me knowStay at your best, baby (oh oh oh)
Let me know, let me know"At Your Best (You Are Love)" - Frank Ocean
There was breakfast brewing and Naomi cooked with a happy smile on her face. She was completely in love with California and she was even more in love with the fact she was there with her husband, who, currently, was in the master bedroom, grooming himself. Naomi set her spatula down and turned off all of the heat in the kitchen once she was finished cooking, and as she prepared two plates, she smiled down at her work. She cooked often during their infamous break to distract her from a broken heart, but now she was cooking happily. Everyday she couldn't wait to sit with her husband and laugh as they ate their meals together. And he loved her cooking which was another reason she cooked as much as she did. She was convinced that she would do absolutely anything for that man of hers, and he would to the same. It was why they worked.
"Babe!" Joshua shouted as he waltzed into the kitchen. Naomi turned to him with wild eyes as he neared her with an incredibly large smile, wrapping his arms around her waist.
"Why are you hollering?" Naomi laughed as he set his forehead against hers.
"Because I want to tell you something."
"And what's that?"
"That if you ever wake me up like you woke me up today ever again, we will never leave our bedroom. And I mean ever. I'm talking, we'll make our room the oval if we have to. Okay? Is that okay with you?" Naomi couldn't help but roar with laughter as Joshua chuckled with her.
"I told you!" Naomi's laugher subsided as she lifted her hand to frame his cheek. "I'm taking care of you."
"Bet your ass you are," He groaned lowly as he kissed her lips deeply, nudging her legs with his knee. Naomi giggled again as Joshua smiled against her lips before pulling away.
"Be a good boy, and go sit in the living room, and I will tell you when breakfast is ready, okay?" Naomi instructed, pecking her husband's lips.
"Why can't I have you for breakfast?" Joshua whispered lowly.
"You already did."
"No, you had me for breakfast, now it's my turn," he growled as Naomi squealed, trying her hardest with her big belly to get away from him.
