As I lay me down to sleep
I hear her speak to me
Hello 'Mari, how ya doin'?
I think the storm ran out of rain, the clouds are movin'
I know you're happy, cause I can see it
So tell the voice inside ya' head to believe it
I talked to God about you, he said he sent you an angel
And look at all that he gave you
You asked for one and you got two
You know I never left you
Cause every road that leads to heaven's right inside you
So I can say

Hello my only one
Just like the morning sun
You keep me rising till the sky knows your name
Hello my only one
Remember who you are
No you're not perfect but you're not your mistakes

Hey, hey, hey, hey
Oh the good outweighs the bad even on your worst day
Remember how I'd say, hey, hey, one day
You'll be the man you always knew you could be

And if you knew how proud I was
You'd never shed a tear, have no fear
No you wouldn't do that
And though I didn't pick the day to turn the page
I know it's not the end every time I see her face
And I hear you say

Hello my only one
Just like the morning sun
You keep me rising till the sky knows your name
And you're still my chosen one
Remember who you are
No you're not perfect but you're not your mistakes

So hear me out, hear me out
I won't go, I won't go
No goodbyes, no goodbyes
Just hello, just hello
When you cry, I will cry
When you smile, I will smile
Next time when I look in your eyes
We'll have wings and we'll fly...

Hello my only one
Just like the morning sun
You keep on rising till the sky knows your name
And you're still my chosen one
Remember who you are
No you're not perfect but you're not your mistakes

Hey, hey, hey, hey

Don't forget about me...
Don't forget about me...
Don't forget about me...

Don't forget about me...
Don't forget about me...
Don't forget about me...

Don't forget about me...
Don't forget about me...
Don't forget about me...

Masterpiece

Naomi rested against her husband's chest as he fed her a small piece of cake. In her last month of pregnancy, the doctor called off all sex, which infuriated the both of them, but they wanted their baby to be as healthy as possible. Their intimacy fueled because of this, and strangely, they'd grown closer than ever. They spent more time together to fill the void of wanting to be close, and every night, they substituted with a movie and cake. No, Naomi wasn't supposed to be eating cake, but Joshua couldn't take it anymore. He was doing anything that kept her happy; and it was in his best interest since he valued his life. She had slowly turned into an occasional monster.

It was May, May the twenty-third, and Naomi was ten days past due. She was irate, she hadn't had sex in nearly two months, and she'd had her thirty-first birthday a month ago, which was an emotional roller coaster for her. Joshua surprised her with a finished nursery, an engraved ring with his name on it that belonged on her right ring finger, a beautiful painting of their family. Lastly, they had an incredible date where she laughed and laughed as they sat on their back porch and Joshua grilled for her, her favorite, and gave her a private strip show, which she more than appreciated. Afterwards, they went night swimming behind their home, and played glow in the dark volleyball.
