Ch. 1: Almost an Accident

Jungkook: Jinjja?! Okay, so here's the deal. If she likes you first, I'm gonna treat you to lunch, but if she
likes me first…

I look towards the new student and see her pacing around, seemingly nervous.

Jungkook: …you'll have to treat me to lunch. Okay, now you gotta have second thoughts about it! Just
say you'll play this game with me.

Moonbin: We'd be playing with a person's feelings if we did this. I don't want to.

Jungkook: Oh, come on!

Jungkook continues whining but I just ignore him and continue looking at the nervous new student.

Is she that nervous that she can't even come to the entrance?

Suddenly, I notice a car going towards her at full speed and it's even going at an angle that looks like it'll
go to the sidewalk.

She's gonna get hit!

My eyes widen and I quickly run towards her to get her out of the car's way.

Jungkook: Huh? Yah, Moonbin! Where are you going?!

The car is still going towards her quickly and I try to run faster so I can reach her in time. Finally, I reach
her and I quickly pull her towards me and place my arms around her to protect her. I close my eyes
tightly, waiting for the car to pass by. It didn't. I open my eyes and look behind me to see that it's
completely stopped just 5 feet away from us.

???: Uhmm… Excuse me, but what are you doing?

My eyes widen and I look down at the girl to see an accusing look on her face.

Moonbin: Huh? O-oh, sorry, I thought-

Suddenly, I feel her step on my foot and I shout and pull away from her.

Moonbin: Y-yah! What was that for?!

???: Are you seriously asking me why I did that?! Don't even think of touching me again, pervert!

My eyes widen and the girl gives me an annoyed look before walking towards the building. I look at her
unbelievingly, then exhale.

Moonbin: Wow! I try to help someone and this is what I get. I was trying to save you, by the way! Thanks
for not noticing!

The girl doesn't even look back and I breathe a sarcastic laugh.

??? 2: Well, well, didn't think you actually knew how to flirt like that.

I turn to the voice and suddenly see Namjoon coming out of the car that I thought would hit the new
student.

Moonbin: What the- It was you?!

Namjoon smirks and I start to feel frustrated.

Moonbin: Aish! Why you-

Namjoon raises his brow at me and I sigh in frustration before going back to the entrance where
Jungkook is standing.

Jungkook: Woah! And I thought you didn't want to play this game.

I give him an annoyed look and he shrinks back.

Moonbin: I didn't say I'd play it.

I then walk past him and enter the school building.

Your POV

Y/N: Aish! That guy is crazy! I don't even know him and he suddenly hugs me just like that?! "Saving
me", my foot!

I stomp as I walk towards where the principal told me would be the class I'm in and stop once I'm almost
there.

Y/N: Alright, Y/N. This is it. This is your new start at a new school. Don't mess it up.

I breathe in deeply and look inside the classroom to see that there’s only one student inside. Suddenly,
as I'm scanning the classroom, I make eye contact with the student and he suddenly smiles and waves.
My eyes widen and I suddenly find myself waving back. Suddenly, a girl appears beside me and I jump,
startled by her sudden appearance.

???: You must be the new student! My name's Kim Dahyun! How 'bout you?

I'm still startled by the girl and it takes me a while before I can respond to her.

Y/N: L-Lee Y/N…

Dahyun: Cool! By the way, that guy who just waved at you is Choi Yeonjun and he's a member of TXT.

Y/N: T-TXT?

Dahyun: Mm-hmm!

I look towards Yeonjun again and see him smile and look back down at whatever he's doing on his desk.

Dahyun: Oh, by the way, your seat is next to Minhyuk's. Why don't you leave your bag for a while and I'll
tour you around the school?

Y/N: Uh… I don't know…

I look at Dahyun doubtfully and she suddenly starts pushing me to my seat.

Dahyun: Oh, don't worry! Yeonjun will watch over your bag, right, Yeonjun?!

Yeonjun looks back at us and he gives Dahyun an annoyed look before shrugging.

Yeonjun: Fine! Just make sure to come back for it 10 minutes before classes start. You know what I have
to do by then.

Dahyun: Yeah, yeah. Thanks, anyway!

Dahyun then turns to me and links arms with me.

Dahyun: Come on! I'll show you around the place!

Dahyun then starts pulling me out of the classroom and I try to keep up with her.

As we leave the classroom, another guy suddenly appears at the doorway and Dahyun swerves to avoid
bumping into him. The guy also moves towards the wall to avoid bumping into us and I accidentally
make eye contact with him as we pass him by.

Dahyun: Oh, hey, Minhyuk! Nice to see you! I’m off to tour the new student around the school!

I quickly break the eye contact and follow Dahyun out of the classroom.

Rocky’s POV

I enter the classroom and suddenly see Yeonjun raising his brow at me while smiling playfully.

Yeonjun: What was that? You’re not trying to flirt with the new girl on her first day, are you?

Rocky: Don’t even think about it. I’m not interested in her.

Yeonjun laughs then goes back to what he’s doing.

Yeonjun: Yeah, right.

I then walk over to my seat and put down my bag. Suddenly, I remember the way she looked when we
made eye contact.

Somehow... I felt something strange that time...
