He wouldn't even allow me to help him do the dishes so I didn't argue. I simply went to his balcony which had a beautiful view of the city. I got more and more comfortable at his place as light breeze hit my face.

"Do you like it?" Taehyung said standing beside me.

"When did you arrive? You finished the dishes already?" I laughed.

"Of course they weren't many."

I turned back to look at the beautiful scenery.

"So..do you mind if I ask what was going on with your sister?" He has been asking this for so long. I cannot just keep hiding this forever. He will grow more suspicious. But what do I tell him then?

"Areum? Areum!" I snapped out of my daydream.

"I told you stop zoning out it's scary."

"Taehyung I-"

"Y'know you can call me Tae. All my friends do." He said

"Oh...okay." I smiled.

"You were saying something. About your sister I suppose?" He asked again.

"Yeah...about that. Maybe my father did it. Well, he's our stepfather and...I don't know how to explain this but he used to bully us. I'm not too sure if it's him this time too." I hesitated.

"Bully as in?" He turned his body to me completely in shock and asked.

"Well, y'know...abuse."

"You too?!"

"Most of the time it was unnie who saved me from him. But yes...me too...sometimes."

We grew silent.

He didn't know what to say anymore and I didn't want him to feel bad for me. So I hugged him after a while. Not for me but for him. To comfort him.

"I wish I could help you somehow." He said resting his chin on top of my head.

"You already are a great support Tae.  I couldn't ask for more." He smiled when I called him that.

While we were having our little moment the bell rang.

"I'll go get it." He said and rushed towards the door. It was Jimin. He smiled as soon as he saw me.

"Do tell me if you need something okay?" He said as I nodded.

"Ahem... I'm here if she needs something you see?" Taehyung said.

"Yeah. I know. Just saying." Jimin smiled at Taehyung and then at me.

"What are you here for?" Jimin's face dropped as Taehyung asked. He looked at me and then at Taehyung and said in a low voice.

"I don't think Areum would like to listen to this." He said.

"I'm stronger than you think!" I exclaimed.

"Are you sure?" Jimin smiled.

I nodded.

We sat down on the couch. Taehyung sat beside me and Jimin sat in the one across us.

"Firstly, about the Choi Hyun Sik case. Nina arranged the meeting with the prostitutes and a new name came forward. Y/n." My eyes widened as Jimin continued.

"We are not too sure about her profession or anything at all but we are working at it. Also another suspect Choi Hyun Sik's wife Choi Na Ye's boyfriend was indeed eyeing his property. The funny part is Choi Na Ye and her boyfriend are getting married next month so we have to be quick."

"That's all?" Taehyung asked.

"Yes sir." Jimin replied.

"For now put this Y/n on hold and continue with the marriage situation." He said half sarcastically.

"Yes sir." Jimin giggled and continued.

"Secondly, I was in charge for Areum's... well.... situation."

"It's okay Jimin." I said. He nodded and continued.

"So during the investigation at your home we found a few things." He said and put a bag on the table. He unzipped it and took out a gun, some packets with white powdered substance and an inhaler.

"Looking at the inhaler the man probably has asthama." The two men turned to look at me.

"But dad doesn't have asthama." I replied truthfully. Dont tell me it was someome else. They nodded.

"This is cocaine." He put three packets in front of us. "We've tested them in the lab. And it seems that these belong to your dad?" I nodded hesistantly.

"Okay. But looking at the gun. It gets confusing here."

"How?" Taehyung asked.

"Umm...I don't think you should be listening to this." Jimin said.

"I'll be fine-"

"Areum. I wouldn't be able to continue if you're here." Jimin said cutting off my words.

"Areum listen to him. Wait for me in my room okay? We'll discuss this later." Taehyung didn't give me a chance to argue and sent me off.

I can't just let them discuss in private. I need to know what all they have against me. Heck,  they even have my name now. I opened the door just a little,  enough to hear them.

"Look here. If the cocaine belongs to Areum's father then he must be an addict." Jimin continued.
