Artemis's POV
*BEEP BEEP*
"Ughhh.." I hit the alarm clock. I got up and threw on a sweatshirt and jeans, I have early classes this week so I have to get up at 6 am everyday. I got ready and braided my hair in a loose braid and started walking to my class. The university isn't that far away from mine and my mom's apartment so there is no use in taking a cab. I walked in my class and was greeted by my teacher and unfortunately Cameron Mahkent.
"Well good morning gorgeous." he smirked at me. I rolled my eyes ignoring him.
"Someone is in a bad mood-"
"Or maybe she just doesn't want to talk to you, Cameron." I look up to see a certain redhead standing by Cameron.
"Whatever, West." He walked away from me. I went past Wally and sat in the front.
"Can I sit with u?" I nodded. I looked around and realized I forgot to grab a coffee this morning. I put my head on my desk.
"Uh everything good with you, Arty?" I glared at him.
"Don't call me that." He laughed.
"I forgot to get me a coffee this morning." He looked down at his drink, it obviously hadn't been drank out of yet.
"Do you want mine?" I shook my head.
"I won't take yours, i'll just go get one after this class. I have an hour til my next class after this one." I fiddled with the end on my braid.
"Can I come with you? I'm kinda hungry anyway." I looked over in his bag, it was full of different kind of snacks. I looked at him and pointed at his bag.
"Oh.. I.. uh forgot about those." He scratched the back of his neck. I laughed,
"You can come with me." He smiled

Wally's POV
It was finally time for class to end, I saw Artemis get up and I quickly grabbed my bag to follow her. It was December so in Gotham it's of course snowing, I looked over at her and saw her shivering.
"Do you want my jacket?" she shook her head.
"Then you'll get cold." I started to take of my jacket but she grabbed my hand.
"I'm fine I promise, the cafe is right there." she pointed at the building a few feet in front of us. She started to walk again, I jogged a bit to keep up with her. For someone with short legs she sure does walk fast. We walked into the cafe and ordered our drinks.
"So why'd you want to come to Gotham University?" I asked her while taking a bite of my muffin.
"It's close to where I live plus all I could afford." she shrugged.
"What about you?" she looked at me.
"They have a good physics program, and I got a scholarships to run track here."
"Well hello Wally." I looked up and saw Linda. I'm gonna be in so much trouble,
"Oh heyy babee!" I could see Artemis snickering, I glared at her. She covered her mouth,
"Who's this?" Linda asked narrowing her eyes at Artemis.
"This is Artemis a friend from class." Artemis gave her a smile, which was definitely fake.
"We need to talk." I laughed nervously.
