“I don’t know how to feel about this, Taylor.” Ed started as they walked down the narrow path backstage. The whole floor was covered in confetti. How the confetti reached backstage, nobody knows.

They just wrapped up another show for the Red Tour. A magical experience, each one.

“I know. I’m as clueless as you are, but what I do know is that this is something. We have something.” Taylor stopped in her path to face Ed.

Ed placed his guitar on the stand before taking Taylor’s hat and placing it on his head. He grinned while quoting Taylor, “I love you, and that’s all I really know.” He started singing to the tune of Love Story and danced around like the monkey that he is.

Taylor thew her head back laughing as she watched Ed dance around and sing the words to her song. “Ed, watch out!” Taylor pointed to the pile of guitar cases.

But it was too late when Ed realised what she was warning him about and fell face-first into the pile of guitar cases and equipment.

Taylor ran over just in time to see Ed roll over flat on his back, cheeks flushed with embarrassment. “I’m an idiot.”

Taylor knelt down and kissed him. “At least now, you’re my idiot.”
