Prince au-
Kenma, first prince in line to succeed a kingdom and although it may have seemed like a good life it wasn't. He was caged, sheltered and escaping the castle for the first time almost made him cry. There was so much poverty that he couldn't do anything about yet which sickened him. However this time when he was called by his mother he found out she had promised some other random prince his hand in marriage. Then it only got worse, of course his protests were silenced and then meeting him he was scary, controlling, and manipulative which disgusted the prince even more. On top of all of it the wedding was in two day's and he'd take the kingdom not long after that so here he was pacing his room with his most faithful knight guarding him.

"Kuroo, I don't know what to do, he's scary, I don't want to rule this cruel place!"

He couldn't help but panic before he felt arms wrap around him and himself being pulled into a comforting hug.

"Kenma, you'll be ok, remember no matter what I'll still be your knight."

Kenma smiled a bit before sighing and shakily handing the ravenette a knife.

"Kuroo, use it please it's the only way to get out of ruling this corrupt place, I'm begging you.."

Kuroo immediately slapped the knife out of his hand, pulling him back into a tight comforting hug.

"Kenma what the hell..? No!"

Kenma couldn't help but sob into Kuroo's chest, barely getting his words out between them.

"K-Kuroo, I don't want to.. I don't want to rule this place! O-Or marry some c-corrupt prince, so please Kuroo I'm begging you! If you do it I'll... feel at peace."

Kuroo hugged the smaller male tighter, shocked by the words he was hearing however also beyond worried for him.

"Kenma,, I'm sorry you know I can't do that, you know you're everything to me.. How can I live without anything..?"

Kenma sobbed more into the other's chest before breaking out of his right warm grasp. He grabbed the knife before sticking it out for the other to grab again.

"Please Kuroo think about me! How would you feel if you had to rule a kingdom full of corruption with a harsh husband who will probably constantly abuse you so please! Let me be at peace Kuroo.."

He gave him a sad teary eyes smile. Kuroo looked into his eyes, he could see how much he wanted it, how happy it's make him so he reluctantly took the knife before pulling him into another tight squeeze.

"Are you sure.. This is what you want..?"

Kenma clenched onto the other, his voice shaky but he knew this is what he wanted.

"It is so Kuroo... Please."

Kuroo pulled his head to his chest, a small tear escaping his own eye, reluctantly taking the knife and stabbing Kenma directly in the back. Then pulling the knife out Kenma began to collapse however of course Kuroo caught him. Sitting down on the floor with Kenma bleeding out in his lap, a small and peaceful smile on his face , tears rolling down Kuroo's cheeks and he bit back his own cries.

"K-Kuroo, thank y-you. I... I loved y-you, please just know that.."

Kuroo's eyes widened a bit at that, it was the last thing he expected on top of all that was happening. It all hit him, why did he go along with it, why did he kill his prince. He could see the pudding haired male's breaths becoming more shallow and he knew he had to do it, he quickly leaned down and closed the distance between their lips. Kenma was a bit surprised but he missed back, managing to get his arms around the other's neck with some struggle and neither of them pulled away, the last thing that happened was Kenma's arms slid off the guard's neck. His lips formed back into a thin line and his breathing stopped. The ravenette pulled back and looked at him, tears continuing to spill out his eyes as he sat with the dead prince that he loved and had killed.

"I'll miss you, sorry I couldn't protect you my kitten.."

He slowly got up, carrying the body bridal style before turning to look out the larger arched window.

"I hope you're happy now, wherever you are."
