The aftermath of Kuroo moving away wasn't easy on Kenma. He'd often say things like he completed a game or something and then look up to see no one there, remembering his friend had left him. He would try to message his captain but often be left on delivered. Kenma understood that he had been left behind and he thought he wasn't good enough anyways since he never really did anything for him but insult him. So here he was, a teary eyed smile and messaging a goodbye to his friend that read:
Hey Kuroo, it's been months, crazy right..? I never thought we'd drift apart like this,,, and I'm sorry if I wasn't good enough. I understand you've moved on but I still miss you, I don't wanna be selfish though hence this message. I at least want to say a proper goodbye since it looks like we're going out separated ways. So I just wanted you to know, I love you and especially that dumb smile.. So keep smiling and look forward, I'll always be cheering you on in the background,,, so this is it. Farewell, childhood friend.
