Hold on

Beneath the raindrops.
Cloaked with a faint light.
The night is cold as the void that I'm feeling.
As the notes of the rain are singing their lullabies.
Pain struck me like a lightning has pierced my heart.
The bubble of sadness has shrouded me—wrapping every inch of my soul.
My tears are imprisoned; caged inside my eyes.
Surrounded by my friends yet I felt isolated.
I chose to be in the darkness, away from the faint light dancing on our faces.
I felt the comfort of an old friend: the dark; hearing their voices like wails.
In the silence, I am waiting for those words.
Dizzy, sleepy and tired—my emotions spurted like the water.
Unexplainable thoughts, my unquiet mind is so loud.
Still waiting, talk or else I'll regret  this moment.
I'm waiting.
