Happiness is an emotion that comes
over you when you know life is good
and you can't help but smile. It's the
opposite of sadness. It is a sense of well being, joy and contentment.
Different people feel happiness for
different reasons. Happiness leads to
8 feelings:

a) Optimistic: is a feeling which makes
a person feel hopeful and confident
about the future. It happens in 2
situations:
1) Inspired: having extraordinary
quality, as if arising from some
external creative impulse.
2) Open: is a term with no set
definition, although it includes
a combination of friendliness,
honesty, open-mindedness,
tolerance and personal authenti-
icity.

b) Intimate: is a feeling to which a
person is closely acquinted and
familiar with. It mostly involves
private, personal and sexual
encounters. It happens in 2
situations:
1) Playful: light- hearted, fond of
games and amusement.
2) Sensitive: quick to respond to
slight changes, signals, or
influences.

c) Peaceful: is a feeling due to which a
person is free from disturbance;
tranquil ( calm). It happens in 2
situations:
1) Hopeful: feeling or inspiring
optimism about a future event.
2) Loving: showing care; enjoying
any specified activity or thing.

d) Powerful: is a feeling which makes
a person feel great power or
strength.
1) Provocative: causing anger or
another strong reaction,
especially deliberately.
2) Courageous: brave; not deterred
by danger or pain.

e) Accepted: is a feeling which is
generally believed or recognised to
be valid or correct. It is caused in 2
situations:
1) Respected: admire someone or
something deeply, as a result of
their abilities, qualities or
achievements.
2) Fulfilled: satisfied or happy
because of fully developing
one's abilities or character.

f) Proud: feeling great pleasure or
satisfaction as a result of one's own
achievements, qualities, or
possessions or those of someone
with whom one is closely
associated. It is caused in 2
situations:
1) Important: having high rank or
status.
2) Confident: feeling or showing
certainty about something.

g) Interested: having an interest or
involvement. It is caused in 2
situations:
1) Amused: finding something
funny or entertaining.
2) Inquisitive: having or showing
an interest in learning things;
curious.

h) Joyful: is a feeling in which a
person feels, expresses or causes
great pleasure and happiness. It
happens in 2 situations:
1) Liberated: being free from social
conventions or traditional ideas,
especially with regard to sexual
roles.
2) Estatic: involving an experience
of mystic self-transcendence ( be
or go beyond the limits)
