My Light In The Dark (Fell!Poth Part 2)

Rurik gave him a pet name after a few weeks of being around Lotus, since it was obvious that he's grown soft and found a liking to him. And Lotus? He's still questioning about how love, not L O V E, works.

Lotus pouted as he stood up, now ignoring Rurik who's still hopelessly flirting with him. Lotus sighs as he dusted himself off and Rurik finally standing up and plopped his skull onto Lotus' shoulder.  "Cupcake~" Rurik cooed as he hugs Lotus from behind, making the smaller skeleton flinch a bit. "W-what?" Lotus stuttered, refusing to spare even a single glance at a probably drunk Rurik, tho he didn't recall seeing Rurik drink alcohol in school today since he was with him all the time almost 24/7.

"I'm hungry~" Rurik cooes, but making his tone a bit more seductive, licking his lips in the process. Lotus tensed up as his face aroused with his color. Lotus decided to struggle in Rurik's embrace and pushed the other aside, as he took out a small bag of chisps that he left over in a pocket inside his cloak, as he threw the bag at Rurik, whose face is also dusted with a light green blush, his eye lights glowing brighter, a smug smirk plastered on his face.

"Eat that." Lotus spat as Rurik took the bag of chisps that was thrown at him as he chuckles. "Oh cupcake~ thanks for the offer, but isn't what I'm hungry for tho~" he replies as he opens the bag and takes a piece of it anyways. "Take it of leave it. That's all your getting." Lotus said as he crossed him arms and sits down at another chair and relaxes for a while. Rurik sits down to the next chair next to Lotus as he puts down the bag of chisps on Lotus' desk, gesturing for the other to take some as well, which Lotus did so. So the two sat there, waiting for the time to pass by, by sharing a bag of chisps.

~The next day

Lotus layed on his bed on his phone, until a sudden message came up, and it just so happens to be from Rurik. He suddenly felt giddy and happy, knowing it came from his only friend in school.

Rurik: "Heyyya cupcake~ Wanna hang @ Muffets rn?"

Lotus: "Yeh. Sure. I'll go get a noose first."

Rurik: "Oh Har Har. Ur dark humor is very funny princess of literal death. Ya know wut I mean cupcake."

Lotus: "Stfu, and yeah really. Sure."

And just even a second after Lotus sent his reply, their doorbell rang and his mom, Geno yelled out for him. "Lotus! Your friend, Rurik is here!". Lotus jumped as he looks at the time which was still early 9:30am and looks out his window to see a grinning Rurik and Geno by the door. "What the hell? Did he just-"

"LOTUS?!"

"I'M COMING DOWN MOM!" Lotus exclaimed as he quickly teleports to his living room.

"You didn't told me you were going out today." Geno says as he crossed his arms and Rurik just casually waving hello to him. "He just texted me just a second ago, and he suddenly arrived the moment I said sure." Lotus said in protest as Geno sighs and glares at him. "But who said you were allowed to go out today young man?" Geno said as both Lotus and Rurik felt like they shurnk. "B-but uhhh mom-" Lotus tries to bargain until Geno just chuckles.

"I'm kidding sweetie. Go freshen up if you're leaving now." Geno said before Lotus could argue further and Rurik tries to hold in laughing awkwardly on how major bipolar Geno could be. Lotus just nervously laughs and nods. "Th-thanks mom! I'll be back down in a sec!" Lotus said as he emphasized the word 'sec' whilst glaring at Rurik. Lotus finally went back to his room to freshen up a bit.

"Wait inside Rurik, it might take a while for him to get back down." Geno calmly said as he goes to their kitchen, sipping a mug of coffee and preparing another mug. "Thanks sir." as Rurik walks in and sits on their couch as he hears Geno snorted. "Didn't I told you to not call me sir? It doesn't add a good ring to it." he said as someone walks down from the stairs, it wasn't Lotus but the grim reaper himself. "Mornin dear." Geno said as he sets aside the newly brewed coffee as Reaper yawns and lazily prances over to Geno as he hugs his waifu from behind. "Morning to you too babe~" Reaper cooes as he burries his skull onto his neck and kisses it, making the smaller blush since Rurik is present in the house.
