Danielle's PoV

I woke up to a beautiful morning the sun was shining through the curtains. Everything seemingly normal.

But it couldn't be more unusual.

Stefan and Damon were vampires.

Vicky transitioned.

And I felt like a mess.

Sighing, I pull myself out of bed getting dressed quietly walking downstairs to see Elena sitting at the table with two bowls of cereal and two cups of coffee.

She looks up, "I made you breakfast and also got you a cup of coffee."

I smile at her, "Thanks Lena."

I move over sitting down next to her, "Elena, I think we should go and see Stefan and Damon."

She looks at me in confusion, "Why?"

"Because we need to see how Vicki is since she and Jeremy were really close. We need to see if she is a threat to him or not," I inform her.

"You're right. Let's go."

We arrive at the Salvatore residence getting out of the car. I gently knock on the door hoping Stefan would answer.

"Great," I comment when Damon greets us. 

"Is Stefan here?" Elena asks.

He grins, "yep."

I roll my eyes in response, "Where is he?"

"And good morning to you, little miss 'i'm on a mission'," he retorts.

I roll my eyes again walking in the house, "How can you be so arrogant and glib after everything you've done?"

"And how can you Dani be so brave and stupid to call a vampire arrogant and glib?" He replies.

Elena scoffs, "If you wanted us dead, then we'd be dead."

"Yes, you would."

"But we're not," I say.

"Yet."

I sigh.
