When Abby had started acting suspicious, I decided to look further into her actions over the past week. Since the supposed loss of her daughter, Abby had gone off the rails.
As we dug further into her actions, we had found that she was planning on launching a pod to Earth illegally. I found the old drop room she was working in and made my way there, four guards at my side.
I tried to open the door and gave Abby a fair warning. Rambling and mumbling could be heard from inside and I knew it was Raven Rayes working with her.
"Abby, don't make this mistake," I warned. "Don't float Raven for your crimes."
I sensed what seemed to be panic coming from inside the room, but it didn't last long. The ground shook a bit and we could hear that the pod had launched.
We burst into the room, Abby telling us we were too late as two of the guards arrested her. The guards took her to the skybox and I watched out the window as the pod descended to Earth.
In the back of my mind, I had hoped that Raven made it. I needed to know that it was survivable on Earth. I needed that reassurance so we could go down next.
I needed to know that my daughter was still alive.
