Napatingin ako sa mga kamay niya. Ni hindi ko iyon maabot manlang. "B-But you're getting engaged," I told him while tears are flowing down my face.

"I'll never marry someone that I don't love," Mac said and so I grabbed his hand along with all my heart hoping for the best.

"What are you doing, son?" His Mom asked.

"I'm leaving, Mom... I only said that I'll come to the party, I never said that I'll agree with the engagement," Mac told his Mom.

"If being decent means marrying someone that I don't love just because she has a good family name then I'll never want to be decent," ani Mac. "And don't ask the guards to follow me again or you may have to find a new heir..."

Ang tubig sa aking mga mata ay muli na namang namuo. "Because you are the only person who can comprehend me," I said to him.

A smile pursed on his lips. "I'm the only one who's smart enough," giit niya at natawa naman ako roon. Well, he is really smart ass anyway.

Bago kami lumabas sa back door ng hotel ay tinanggal ko muna iyong apron ko at kinuha iyong mga accessories na tinanggal ko kanina. Sinuot ko ulit ang mga iyon dahil kay Paige ito. Isasauli ko pa sa kanya.

"Where are we going?" I asked Mac.

Bago pa siya makasagot ay may mga lalaking naka maskara ang humarang sa amin. Umuwang ang aking bibig. "M-Mac... Are they your parent's?" I asked him. I am so scared right now. Why are they even wearing masks? And why are those look so familiar?

I looked at Mac and I saw fear in his eyes. Umiling siya at agad akong inilagay sa kanyang likuran.
