Chapter 10| Mehendi

She had succeeded. She had succeeded in creating a place in Aryan's heart.  That very moment she promised herself to never let these kids down. Aryan was trusting her and she knew never to break that. She knew that for a kid  to accept a total stranger as his or her parent is hard and its more hard when you have memories of ur real parent.  But Aryan had given her a chance and she wasn't gonna let it go in waste. She hugged the kids tightly kissing each of their forehead. All this while Neil looked at them with adoration. This is what he wanted his kids to get a mothers love and for them to be happy.

Naira:"Papa you also come na"(Neil and Ahana look at each other. Before Neil can answer Ansh and Naira pull him into the hug.)

Ahana and Neil look at each other as the kids hug them tight. They look at the kids and a smile appears on their face. Unknown to them these moments were being captured by Sid.

The engagement ceremony soon came to an end. Though the kids were sad but all headed to there respective homes. Ahana was alone in her room looking at her ring on her ring finger. She wondered what life had stored for her. Why all these things were happening in her life. As she was lost in her thoughts Ansh enters the room.

Ansh:"Mumma can I sleep with you"

Ahana:"yes baby come here."

Ahana makes Ansh sleep and soon she herself falls asleep. 2 days pass in a jiff. Today was the mehendi rasam. Mehendi is a ritual in which the bride and other ladies of the house apply henna also known as Mehendi in India.

Ahana was sitting on the decorated booth area while the henna artist was applying mehendi. The kids were running around playing while other were buzy among themselves enjoying the function.

Prabha:(Seeing Ahana)"Now all I want is for this wedding to happen without any problem and for my child to have a happy life. She has already lost so much"

Sanjeev:"Prabha dont u think we should tell Ahana the truth before she is married "

Prabha:"No... we can't. You already know how broken she is after she got to know rajeev is dead. And now if we tell her this truth she will be broken to a point where no one can bring her back. All I want is to get the old Ahana back. The bubbly carefree Ahana."

Sanjeev:"You are right. I don't know how she will react after knowing the truth"

Meanwhile...

Artist:"Maam whose name should I put in your design "

Ahana:"huh?"

Artist:"The groom's Name maam"

Preeti:(coming towards them)"Put N For Neil"(She said with a smile as she turns to Ahana )" Bhabhi are you hungry? Should I get something for you."

Ahana:"No I am fine just check on the kids. I dont think they have eaten anything yet"

Preeti:"Don't worry bhabhi. Shruti Bhabhi and I have already fed them. They are playing in the room now. Sameer and Ryan are with them"

Ahana:"Sameer and Ryan?"

Preeti:"oh you didn't met them right? They are Shruti bhabhi's  kids. They weren't in the engagement before due to school but they will attend all other functions "

Ahana:"oh okay. Ah preeti can u get me some juice "

Preeti:"Sure Bhabhi one min"(Preeti goes in the kitchen to get some juice only to be stopped by Sid)

Sid:"Jaan listen "

Preeti:"Sid not now. I have to give this juice to bhabhi"

Sid:"No no listen to me first. Why don't you let Neil Bhaiya give the juice to bhabhi it will be more Romantic right"(He said winking)
