Chapter 42| Realization

Next morning came. The sun raise fell on a sleeping couple in their room. Ahana and Neil were sound asleep in each other's arms.  The raise hit Ahana's face breaking her sleep. She felt breathing on her neck and opened her eyes to see Neil's face buried in her neck. His arms wrapped around her waist as half of his body layed on her.

Ahana ran her hands through Neil's hair as he snuggled more into her. This closeness had become a normal routine for them. Ahana reached and took her phone. As she looked at the time her eyes wide. 10:30! Dead! She was literally dead! Bus ji will kill her with all her taunts. Ahana was surprised bua ji hadn't started to knock at her door to wake her up.

Ahana:(Trying to get up)"Neil leave me I am dead. How can I forget to change the alarm last night. Shit shit shit. I am sooo dead. Neil moveeeee"(Neil groaned as he turned to the other side.)

Neil:"sleep na Shona. Yesterday also everyone was up due to karwa chauth"

Ahana:"Neil I am already late. You sleep, but leave me"(Neil rubbed his eyes as he looked at Ahana. For a second Ahana would have been lost in his messy look and husky voice but buaji's fear was more.)

Neil:"What time is it?"

Ahana:"10:30"(She said as she got up and started to tie her long hair in a bun)

Neil:"what!"

Ahana:"I forgot to change my alarm. I changed it yesterday night to 4 for karwa chauth but forgot to change it back. Neil bua ji will literally kill me. And the kids. Omg "

Neil:"Ahana calm down I am here na. You go get fresh I'll look at the kids."

Ahana nodded as she rushed in while Neil just washed his face real quick before heading down to check on the kids. He went to the kids room to see if was empty. Then He proceeded into the play room to see Ansh Aryan and Naira playing with their new lodo set, Neil brought them 1 week ago.

Aryan:"Papaa"(He hugged Neil)

Neil:"Hi kids. You all had your breakfast "

Ansh:"Yes papa. Shruti Taiji made Pancakes today"

Neil:"Ohhh okay"

Naira:(in a slowly voice)"But today's breakfast was not good papa"

Neil:"What happened sweetheart?"

Naira:"Dadi bua scolded everyone. Preeti chachi and Sid chachu  came late to breakfast and you and mumma were also not there. She yelled at dadi"

Ansh:"She said my mumma is bad. Mumma is not bad na papa. Mumma is the world best mumma then why did she say that?"

Aryan:"When we tried to tell her mumma is the best sh...she...she said that m..mumma is not my mumma and Aarti ma is also not a good mumma. She said that Ahana maa will also leave me like Aarti maa did"(He said the last part really softly as if it might come true)

Naira:(Crying now)"Papa mumma is the best. She won't go na. mu..ma"

Neil:(Who was now burning in anger calmed down seeing Naira tears)"Hey hey shhhhh princess"(He said picking her up in his arms. He sat on the bed with Naira in his arms while he called Ansh and Aryan to sit next to him)"What ever your Dadi bua said to you is false. Aryan both your Mumma's are the best And Naira no one. I repeat No one will take your mumma away from you. I promise you that we will always stay together. All 5 of us. "

Aryan/Ansh/ Naira:"Pinky promise "(They said taking their Pinky finger out while Neil chuckled at their cuteness )

Neil:"Yes pinky promise. Now you play I'll just get freshen up then go down okay"(All the kids nodded as Neil kissed their foreheads and headed to his room. While he showered his mind roamed on Bua ji's words. He had to do something. His limited of control was exceeding. As he got dressed he headed down to see Ahana standing I'm the hall with her head down as bua ji scolded her while everyone looked around worried.)
