💔Wrongly Parted Part 1💔

"Was all that affection on the couch there fake? You never loved me anyway huh?" I said, walking past him. I exited the house, letting tears cascade down my cheeks. I flipped on my hood and pulled out my phone.

"Damian?" Father asked. I swallowed.

"Father can you pick me up?" I asked.

"I thought you were staying at Jon's until late-"

"Not anymore." I said. Father paused.

"Did something happen-"

"It doesn't matter." I snapped. Father sighed. There was some mumbling on his end.

"Dick will be there in ten minutes. Please be nice."

"No promises." I said before hanging up. I put my phone back in my pocket and wrapped my arms around my torso.

"The damn alien could've at least let me wait inside." I muttered. I furiously tried to blink back tears but failed.

No. Stop crying damn it! No one needs to know what happened. I scolded myself.

After a few more minutes Grayson pulled up. I lifted my head.

"Dami what the heck?! You're soaked! Get in the damn car!" He exclaimed. I scoffed and sat in the passenger seat.

"Use this." Dick tossed me a towel and turned on the heat.

"Why the fresh heck did you not wait inside?" He scolded as he began driving away from my now ex-boyfriend's house. I shrugged.

"Doesn't matter. By the way Grayson, I'll take up your offer on working with the Titans once again." I said. Grayson whipped his head towards me in surprise.

"Seriously? But what about Jon? He's why you wouldn't leave when I first offered-"

"We're done." I blurted. Grayson slammed on the breaks, causing me to jolt forward.

"ACK! Grayson you shitty driver!" I yelled.

"First of all, language, second of all, Damian, what do you mean you're done?" Grayson asked.

"Exactly that. What more is there to it?" I said, crossing my arms and looking straight ahead.

"But why?" Grayson asked as he began driving again. I released a frustrated sigh.

"I DON'T F*CKING KNOW!" I shouted.

"Damian! Enough swearing!" Grayson scolded. "You seriously don't know? Jon was just suddenly like "let's break up" and gave no explanation?"

"Pretty much." I admitted.

"So the damn alien didn't even tell you why?" The older shouted.

"Stop yelling. I already said he didn't give a reason now can we please drop th-this." I cursed my voice for breaking at the end.

I hurriedly wiped my eyes before tears could fall.

"Dami... I'm so sorry..." Grayson reached a hand over and rubbed my arm and I didn't pull away for once.
