PURE ASTONISHMENT FILLED up in Hannah's body. Why would Avery try to do that? She knew her; she wouldn't do that.... Would she?
"Something had to have changed then," she thought to herself.
Hannah finally realized that Chiron had began to gallop away; he must have thought she was following him.
Shaking her head, she sprinted over to him and followed him. When they both reached the Big House, Hannah caught a glimpse of a figure with curly blonde hair, and a man with raven black hair holding a girl in his arms.
"Piper.... Jason.... She just spoke-"
"What? Percy? Annabeth? Avery? What are you doing here?"
"Well, considering that Avery just happened to speak a prophecy, we thought that it'd be best to come to you."
"A prophecy?" Hannah questioned.
Chiron's face went pale and grave, she noticed.
"So. It has begun."
