You Belong With Me

Fifteen.

Today is a Saturday and I've got nothing to do. Andres is in a shoot, Anicia and Jeorella are both out of the country while Anna is busy with the upcoming wedding. Next week na iyon kaya abalang-abala na sila ni Nell.

Oh my gosh! I still don't have a dress! Napabangon ako sa naisip. I went to my walk in closet and searched for a pastel long gown. Anna didn't want to make the bridesmaids wear the same dresses. Ugh. I guess I have to shop.

"Hi, Chan. Where are you?"

I called Chandler to ask him to accompany me. I am used to shopping alone but today, I don't want to.

"Heto, chillin' sa bahay!"

"I'm shopping for a dress and I don't want to feel alone while doing so..."

"Okay. Ligo lang si me!"

I chuckled. He really is a 'one call away' friend.

I dressed up quickly. For today, I decided to go for a casual look since my make up is just light. I wore a powder blue puff sleeve crop top, white bell pants and white block heels from Prada, its my favorite brand so I have a lot of things from there. I let my jet black wavy hair down. Kinuha ko ang aking navy blue Kate Spade clutch and I was ready to go.

We arrived at Venice Grand Canal Mall in time for lunch.

"What do you want for lunch?", I asked while he was parking.

"Hmmm... ah! Unli wings!"

"What?"

"Unli wings! Unli chicken wings!"

Gosh. Here he goes again with his love for buffets!

"No."

"Ay, ano. Pizza? Pizza! Pizza!"

Chandler chanted until I gave up. I brought him to Yellow Cab and he ordered 2 pizzas for himself!

"Seriously, may shortage ba ng pagkain sa inyo?"

"Wala naman, Pors. Hehehe!"

I rolled my eyes and ordered for me. I chose pasta and a slice of pizza.

While waiting, Chandler filled me with stories I didn't ask for. I surveyed him while he was talking. He's wearing a white Lacoste polo and a Rolex. He looks so manly!

"So, how was your date in Laguna?"

Natahimik naman siya.

"Anong date?"

"Duh. Your joyride?"

He looked up at the ceiling. Hindi niya ba matandaan?

"A-ah! Yung d-date! Oo! Ang saya! Nag-Tagaytay kami!"

"Huh? You said you went to Laguna."

His eyes widened and laughed awkwardly.

"O-oo! Doon nga! Tsaka kami nag-Tagaytay."

"Was that a date or a field trip?", I laughed. "You should've went to Sagada!"

Chandler frowned at me.

"Eh ikaw? Kamusta yung date niyo ni Andres?"

Shoot. I sighed and decided to tell him the truth...

"We did not see each other that night. I-I got busy with work."

Or not the whole of it.

Our food arrived and so he began eating like there's no tomorrow.

Nagulat ako nang ilagay niya lahat ng pineapples sa aking pinggan.
