POV: Gabe

After the show we were going out to eat. We figured that we needed to celebrate for getting in!!! I am excited to say that WE DID IT!!!! WE GOT IN! We are having a difficult time choosing where to go. After a while we choose the new restraunt down the road.

"Hmmm Chick Fil A. What do you guys think? Any of you guys like chicken?" Caleb asks.

"Who doesn't like chicken? Let's go already!!!" Joey pleads and dashes inside followed by us.

It is not very busy, so we decide to eat there. We wanted food and we wanted now. When a man is hungry, he wants food. It's as simple as that.

We order chicken sandwiches and sit down with them after they are ready. We sit at a big table and there are still seats left. As we are sitting down in comes in another couple of girls that came in and I can predict made it in because they were smiling and had matching outfits on. That cannot be a coincidence. With them was her.... With her were two kids I recognize I think is a guy named like Cody or something like that and the other one I know is Kelsey I know that much. Cody is Kelsey's boyfriend I know that, but what is She doing with them? Wait... Her and Kelsey are wearing the same outfit. Well that explains it.

They see us and when they order their chicken sandwiches sit down next in the chairs at our table. Who knew I would get to sit next to her. I am not "excited"... Ok maybe only a little, but I try to act smooth.... Try to any way.

"I forgot to get a drink do you guys need anything?" I ask everybody.

"Oh I guess I forgot one too," she says, "can you grab me a diet Coke?"

I smile I guess we both like that drink, "two diet cokes coming right up."

I see Caleb and Joey smirk, but I am hoping nobody else's notices. Then I come back and hand her her drink.

"Hey cowgirl, you know I never got your name," I whisper to her.

Before she could answer, I was interrupted by Chad... Again!! "I'll race you Little Bro to the green slide!"

"Not if I get there first Chaddy!"

Joey and Chad race to the slide and we have to follow them to them from going out of control.

Actually I race up the ladder before the two guys could climb up the slide part. I don't know why they even try. Don't they know that climbing up that way NEVER works?

"I'm the king of the slide!!" I yell down to Chad and Joey.

I get kicked from behind and I slide down the slide. "Not any more little Gabe! Girls rule now!!" I hear a voice come from the top of the slide. Kelsey and her laugh. The guys and I get "mad" at them, we make fun and make them think they "won."

I hear Kelsey laugh and squeal as Cody comes up from behind her and tickle her as he picks her up spins her around. It was funny seeing them. I won't admit that I am a little jealous...

"Hey do you guys want to go ice skating?" Kelsey asks, "my mom was going to take me to celebrate after we were done here, and she said I could take friends."

We all smile and nod and "yes"s all around. Except for me who can't ice skate... This is going to be embarrassing. I am and will always be a klutz.... Wish me luck on this one.

We get to the ice skating rink and my fear is coming true. I am wobbling and I keep falling. And this wasn't even on the ice.... I was walking TO the rink from the seat where I put on the skates and I was very nervous that I wasn't focusing on trying to walk. I kept falling and then I went back to the seat to take them off. A hand grabs mine.

I look up and see her eyes staring back at mine. They were beautiful and big and grey. She says to me, "Take my hand and I can help you not fall."

I take her hand nervously. It is weird, isn't the GUY supposed to say this? Am I supposed to be the one trying to comfort her? How did it end up being the GIRL helping me stand up?

I end up being not as bad as I thought I would on the ice. I don't fall as we are holding each other's hands. She shivers and I take my jacket off and put it on her shoulders. I see a grin and a couple of winks out of the corner of my eye coming from two blue (very bad winks) and two brown eyes. I ignore them.

She lets me spin her on the ice, and she twirls. She looks beautiful as her brown locks flow in the breeze.

We hear a whistle from Kelsey's mom and we know it's the signal to come meet up and go for some hot chocolate.

As we are sitting around a table outside I turn to her again and try to ask again, "Ok spinner can I ask (I held myself from saying again) what did the great Father call you?"

"God calls me by the name Abby," she replies.

A lot of giggles and ooos come from the table. And all of them were basically coming from the four guys that I have known since 5th grade.
