She wanted a cover depicting some recent events. It wasn't mandatory but it'll also earn you extra points so I decided to go with it.
At first I thought I won't participate because the contest looked pretty scary. But a pic drew my attention.

I had seen this before in a WhatsApp status and trust me I completely fell in love with this. Mostly because I am both a Marvel and a DC fan. You can guess how elated I was seeing this pic. And luckly, I found it on Pinterest. So I decided on going with this. But there was three problems.
One was that if I use this pic alone, there won't be any manip.
Second this pic was not at all dark.
Third is that it will be really difficult to turn the background of the pic into black because there'll be three figures in between.
So I had to resolve these problems when I got this on Pinterest...

This was an amazing pic too. Not really as good but well you gotta compromise sometimes. That's why, I decided on doing a manip of the above two pictures. That turned out into....

So, I guess, my focus item is ready.
Now comes the background. So I chose a black background and imported this pic into it. Resized it and then blended it in to have a black background. Like this..

In case anybody is wondering about the light rays coming from around Jesus, I did it in PicsArt. I chose the brush size to almost 60%, Hardness was zero and Opacity was... Say 50%. That worked it out.
(This effect is not only brought by the brush but also the HDR effect. Try using it at the last.)
Now comes the font part...

As the background was black, most people go for a white font colour. But colouring your all fonts white looks plain and simple. So I decided on giving the main text (Wonderful) a glowy effect to increase the effect on the viewers. And the others fonts just came along instantly. I just made sure that it coincides with the main text.
In case anyone's wondering why I chose the Covid-19 as my theme when there was many recent happenings. The answer is.
This cover above was on a subject thriving in right now (recent happenings). There was many recent things. Like three Bollywood actor dying and the list goes on.
But I chose Corona Virus theme because it didn't effect just a few community or country. It effected the whole world. It united us in a strange way. It didn't make us a American, black or woman. It made us HUMAN. It gave us a new God. It gave us a lesson that nobody in this world is free of fear.
