Man up!

Kol's pov

"Davina is carrying your child Kol" Elijah's words play out in my head, I want to speak but everytime I open my mouth, nothing comes out. Luckily I don't have to say anything just yet because Nik speaks up and acts like a total dick "lie!" he shouts pointing an accusing finger at Hayley and Davina. "This is a trap to fool us but we know better. Vampires can't have children!" he snaps "you're not just a vampire Niklaus" Elijah retorts "well it doesn't explain her! How is she supposedly pregnant with Kol's child?! He can't reproduce!" he snaps glaring at Davina who growls. 

"Oh man up would you! My sister is carrying your child and believe it or not my child is your brothers!" she snaps clenching her fists. "It's true brothers" Elijah says before motioning us both to listen. I glance at Davina's stomach and just listen until I hear the gentle thump of a small heartbeat, that is definitely not hers. My eyes trail up to hers which are already locked on mine and I see she's nervous and a little afraid of what my reaction will be.

Nik shakes his head "it's a lie. You've been with someone else admit it!" he snaps pointing at Hayley accusingly. "Hey, I've been through hell the second I stepped foot in this town and I'm being held hostage along with my sister by lunatic witches. Don't you think I would've fussed up by now if the baby wasn't yours?!" Hayley snaps back with her hands on her hips.

Nik stays silent and avoids her gaze
"it's no lie. My sister confirmed it with a spell. These girls carry the newest members of the Mikaelson family" Sophie says "I will kill you" Nik threatens "you won't do that" Sophie replies confidently "oh and why is that?" Nik challenges "because anything you do to me, happens to them. You see the spell my sister did to confirm these girls were pregnant with your offsprings, linked me to them since I have the ability to sense when a woman is pregnant" she explains bringing her hand up and poking her finger with a needle making the girls hiss. "Bitch" Davina mutters sucking her finger in her mouth as a bit of blood spurts from it where Sophie had pricked herself.

"So if you want the girls to live then I suggest you listen and help us otherwise Hayley and Davina won't live to see their first maternity dress" Sophie threatens making me scowl "oh hell no bitch" Davina growls glaring at Sophie and two witches grab her to keep her from lunging at Sophie making my blood boil. "Kill the girls and the babies for all I care" Nik says making me scowl "what the fuck Nik I care!" I snap but he just vamp speeds away. 

"Do not touch either of them!" I snap pushing the two witches away from Davina. Nobody will harm or disrespect my baby mama. "If you want Marcel gone, I'll see to the matter myself but under no circumstances will you harm these girls" Elijah says "follow our rules and we have a deal" Sophie replies "I'll be back with my brother" he says "I'll come with, to help knock some sense into that wanker" I say before turning to the witches and I give them a stern look. "Nobody touches the girls otherwise I will kill you" I threaten before vamp speeding away with Elijah.

Me and Elijah track down Nik in the French quarter. He's sat on a bench brooding "what the hell was that back there?!" I snap not able to hold back my anger. "Kol not now" he says pissing me off even more "you just told the witches to kill Hayley and Davina back there along with our unborn children. So don't you dare tell me not now! This isn't just about you!" I snap "he's right Niklaus" Elijah says Nik sighs as he stands up.

"Niklaus these children are the beginning of a new chapter for our family. After all the years of violence, betrayal and blood shed we endured. Our family finally has something to fight for and a reason to make us whole again" Elijah says "who ever said I wanted a child?!" Nik retorts making me scoff. "Don't give me that. I saw the look on yours and Kol's face when you heard the babies heartbeats. You want this and it's all we have ever wanted for you" Elijah replied Nik stands up and looks at us.

"This city, it was once ours and in our absence Marcel rebuilt it and made it into this kingdom. He's got loyalty, power and I want it" he says making me scoff "so this city is more important than your child?" I ask "this city belonged to us" he retorts "and we will have the city again but with these children. Niklaus your search for power has made you blind that you don't see that family is power" Elijah replies "well every King does need an heir and my child should grow up in the best city. My child will grow up like royalty" Nik declares and I see him pull something out of his pocket. I already know it's a dagger so I snatch it off him "no! You will not dagger anyone this time! You can't just dagger us and hide us away! This doesn't just concern you, it concerns me too. I'm also gonna be a father so I need you to stop being a dick and grow up! For once step up and be a man, not Klaus the evil hybrid!" I snap shoving the dagger in my pocket. 

"Wise words brother" Elijah praises before looking at Nik in disappointment "I know you want this so don't deny it and step up because those girls back there are being used as bait in order for us to do the witches bidding and we need to make sure they don't have to suffer" Elijah says  "speaking of which, I'm gonna head back to the cemetery. I don't trust the witches with the girls" I say before vamp speeding away.

 I arrive at the cemetery and head straight to where Davina and Hayley are being kept. Sophie looks up "where's your brothers?" she asks "they're dealing with something at the moment but we will help with your Marcel problem" I respond "good, I'm glad we have an understanding" she replies "whatever. Where are the girls?" I ask as they're nowhere in sight. "Agnes wanted them to be locked away" she replies making me scowl "well bring them out. I'm taking them with me" I respond "you can't do that. We have a deal" she retorts "yes, we do but I want Davina and Hayley safe and they're not safe with you so bring them out and hand them over otherwise I'll kill every witch in the city" I threaten revealing my red eyes and fangs making her step back in fear. "I'll go fetch the girls" she says before hurrying off making me smirk as I lean against the wall.

Sophie soon returns with the girls "go before Agnes gets back, she won't be happy I let them go" she says "well tell her if she's not happy then she can deal with me and I have the urge to kill" I respond making her gulp "of course" she replies avoiding my eyes. 

I turn to Davina and Hayley "are you two ready to go?" I ask "hell yeah, get me out of this shit hole" Davina replies making me chuckle. "Well come on, I'm taking you to the plantation" I respond as we leave the cemetery.

We reach the plantation "lovely place you got" Davina comments as we walk through the door "thanks" I respond "where's Elijah and the dickhead?" Hayley asks making me snicker "they'll be here shortly. Elijah is having a word with Klaus who is having a bit of a hissy fit" I respond "what about? The fact he's going to be a father or is he on his time of the month?" Davina asks making me chuckle. "He doesn't like being put into a corner which the witches have done and he's envious of Marcel because he wants this city" I explain "well that's just great" Hayley replies sarcastically. I glance at Davina and sigh as she looks really pretty in her cotton white jumper and light denim jeans with her hair in a side braid "It must've been a rough couple of days for you two so you should get some rest. Um we have plenty of spare rooms so just help yourself to any of them" I say "thank you, that is kind of you but do you have any food? Because I'm starving" Davina says "me too" Hayley adds "no but I can get Elijah to stop somewhere and get some food" I respond "okay, well we're going to get settled upstairs" Hayley says gently tugging Davina up the stairs. I'll talk to Davina in private later, when she's not so tired or hungry. I don't want to stress her out anymore than she probably already is.
