My favorite episode of the 2003 rendition of the Turtles was on nick toons last night!!!!!! I was so excited. Also, I thought it was cool that they were showing the '03 cartoons.
Basically in this episode, Donatello has to fix the water heater in April's apartment, so he goes to the basement where he finds these weird creatures. He meets an artist named Kirby, who's found a part of a crystal (equivalent to 2012's mutagen) and has taped it to his pencil. Now anything he draws jumps off the page into reality.
They go into a portal Kirby has drawn that opens into a land with a floating city with a bridge that is defended by I think five warriors. There were more, but they were killed by the enemies - these Orc-like monsters that are trying to attack the city. Then the monsters attack, of course.
I kept yelling at Kirby to just draw more warriors but instead Donatello starts helping the fighters. Kirby draws Don an antigravity gun to defeat the monsters, and then he draws a huge Transformer thing that resembles a transformed dump truck, if you will.
I love this episode because it shows, cheesy as it sounds, how powerful the imagination can be.
