theres a place i need to go to tonight,
alone with no company dont want to give my mind a fright,
somewhere that could heal all the brokenness you feel,
a summer movie where my eyes are hurting,
we've been in the sun all day i think im slowly burning,
lets take a break and grab a drink,
talk about nothing and make it about everything,
nevermind its getting late,
i think tonight i feel more give and take,
under the stars or a sleepover after we spilled our guts,
you know you tell me all of your darkest spots,
and you know i wouldn't put salt in your cuts,
im in a sleepy somber,
and my heads starting to wonder,
my hands wouldn't hate to know you,
in this midnight adventure,
but dont get it twisted,
this is a highway to nowhere,
im in the safe spot between my sheets,
and these are the worlds in my haven that keep me glued together,
if you had an escape wouldn't you love to surrender?
