I'm surrounded by a deep forest on both sides.
The forest isn't scary to me but still, I can never make it to the end.
I'll make it half way and then I'll turn around and go back.
I don't know why I can't do it.
Why I can't make it to the other side.
I've done it before.
I've made it to the other side before.
but this year's different...
Everytime, I step out into the forest
I make progress but it's very little.
Each time that I go farther and farther in, the more paranoid I become.
Turning my head in every direction like something's gonna be there,
but there never is.
I try to put my focus on the music that's playing through my phone, but it's so hard.
It seems that no matter how loud my music is
the sounds around me are even louder.
It was never like this before.
I don't understand why it can't be like it was before.
but for some reason, it's all changed.
