CHAPTER 5

Elizabeth

Nicole and Fritzie were asking me and George a while ago what happened to our "journey" on our way here to The Cave. But I just rolled my eyes to them.

Hindi ko parin nakakalimutan ang pambubugaw at pag tatraidor sakin ni Nicole.

But George was that kind of friend who you will not trust your most embarrassing moments in life with. Kaya tuwang tuwa ang gaga na Nicole na parang akala mo ay nanalo sa lotto nung binulong ni George sa kanila ni Fritzie ang mga kahindik hindik na pangyayari kanina sa kotse. Kaya iniwan ko sila sa parking kung saan sila naghintay kanina at nauna nang pumasok but they followed afterwards.

The guys ordered a lot of hard drinks, and since it's friday, the place is packed mostly of college students.

Me and the girls were seated beside each other while the boys were in front of us and Drew is seated in front of me. A band that I don't know the name of is playing inside the music hall where we are right now

I closed my eyes when I remembered what Drew said to me earlier, baka naman nabigla lang sya sa mga pangyayari kaya I'll try to remove maybe in his dictionary and will just leave him a yes or no option. Does he even like me in the first place? Or he's just trying to fool me? I freaking don't know, since we don't even have a proper conversation. Mahirap mag assume no. Kaya after kong mag all out walwal mamaya ay I coconfront ko sya, kung sane pa ako mamaya.

But now, let me just drink to my heart's content and contemplate my life right now. I'm honestly starting to get bored with my studies and to my course even though I always receive the highest marks in class. I can't help it, I'm just naturally smart. And lately I'm starting to feel a desire to draw again. But I know I can't. My parents won't like it.

We were talking about the pageant earlier while the boys were minding their own business most probably talking about girls except for Drew who was just listening to them and moderately drinking

"Hello babies!"

"OMG Michael!" Georgina stood up to greet and hug our intruder. It was Michael, our gay friend whom we've met a year ago because of a cat fight incident between George and some girl named Mary Anne.

We all stood up and to greet him, plus hug and beso. We're really surprised to see him here since he is studying in UPV Miagao campus and it is so far from here. The campus is literally outside the city.

"Eww Georgina, gabi ngayun kaya Michelle ang pangalan ko inchendes?" sinabunutan pa ni Michael si George after nun. "Sorry naman sis, what brings you here in the kabihasnan ba?"

"Try niyo kaya muna ako pa upuin no? Hindi rin kayo rude nyan?"

"Oh edi upo" This time si Georgina naman ang humila sa buhok ni Michael pa upo sa couch namin kaya pati ang boys sa harap ay natawa rin.

"OMG may kasamang boys. I like!" kinamayan nya pa isa isa sina Miguel, Marco, Alec at Drew.

"So what brings you here bakla?" tanong ni Fritzie

"Oh I'm with my UP friends, nasa kabilang table sila." He pointed on the table near the band playing kaya tiningnan rin namin. Medyo madami rin sila at mukhang kanina pa sila dito since may mga wasted na sa kanila. "Nag meet kasi kmi ng ibang mga taga UPV Iloilo City campus para sa rally namin next Friday about this bill na pinasa ng kongreso which will clearly violate human rights"

And his talk continues. Fritzie and George were so engrossed with his stories while my mind is in some place I don't want it to be, like the scenario earlier in the car with Drew.
