After the party had finished and almost everyone had left, Lambert, Eskel and Vesemir bid their goodbyes and also left. Which left Selene, Geralt, Zoltan, Ciri, Crach and Ermion behind as Priscilla and Dandelion had left to go on their honeymoon. They were currently bound for Toussaint. "So, you guys getting ready to go?" "Yeah, We Can't afford to sit around right now." Zoltan sighed but he understood. "Alright, please be safe you two."

"Of course Zoltan." "Oh, and since I wasn't able to yet, congrats on the engagement and Geralt. Try to not let anything happen to Selene again." Geralt stared at Zoltan before crossing his arms. "I refuse to let anything else happen to her. I'll die before that happens." Selene looked between them and rolled her eyes. "No ones going to die. I swear, and the first person to correct me I will gladly show you why no one likes my temper." That quickly shut them up as they each looked away.

Each of them suddenly very interested in either the wall or the floor. Ciri wanted to laugh but she was worried. Part of what Geralt said during his speech bothered her. "Come on, let's go before the ship leaves without us." Selene looked at Ciri and nodded. Bidding a goodbye to Zoltan the group soon left. "Guess we'll have to see Hattori after this." Geralt looked at Selene and shook his head. "Nope, we're still seeing him." Selene raised an eyebrow but knew to not question what he meant right now.

As they walked Selene was able to hear the banging of metal and she couldn't help but grin. The closer they got, the louder the sound, at this point she could almost feel the heat of the forge. "Hattori!" Said man looked up at the sound of his name and the smile that he gave Selene had the woman smiling in return. "Selene! You're here!" He came out from behind the anvil and walked over before he hugged the woman. "When Geralt told me of what happened, I felt my heart stop. You have no idea how relieved I am."

Selene hugged the man back before pulling away. "I'm sorry I caused worry." He shook his head. "Please don't be sorry, you didn't intend for it to happen." Everyone else was still confused as they still hadn't been told what happened to leave Selene on death's door. Hattori however looked down and saw the simple ring and his eyes widened. "You asked her!" Geralt laughed. "Of course I did, I didn't have you craft that ring for nothing you know." He rolled his eyes. "Yes but you took so long to ask her. You had that ring for what 10 years now?"

"Yeah, but remember what was going on." "Yeah, Yeah I remember. I do hope when you two get married though, I get an invite." Selene laughed. "Of course, I can't have you missing out on that event." Hattori smiled as he went behind the forge once more only to come out with a steel sword. "A gift for you Selene. It's called Zara Inva Zarikah." Her eyes widened at this. "The blade of Fire." "Correct, and now it is yours." Silver eyes were wide and full of shock yet she simply took it and handed it over to Geralt who attached it to Ravens Saddle bags.

"Right, now I assume you must be off, but please do be sure to come back and visit me." "Of course we will Hattori." And with that the group left heading right for the ship. Once they arrived and boarded and the horses were taken to their designated location, did the small group make their way below deck into the main room that was Crach's. "Alright, so does someone want to explain what Geralt meant when he said you almost died?"

Selene looked at Ermion and sighed. "Might Wanna get comfy. I still don't know all of it. It's blurry to me so Geralt will be the one to tell you." Geralt nodded and watched as everyone took a seat, Ciri immediately curled up against Selene on the floor and Crach and Ermion sat in their chairs while Geralt leaned against the wall.

"We has just arrived at Dandelion's inn. When he told us he was getting married alright? Selene felt horrible at missing so much of his life that she ran off and he chased her while I stayed behind to explain to the others what possibly happened. Also to plan how I was going to propose to her." Crach nodded and Selene simply listened. "Dandelion had caught up and the two talked. Just as they were about to come back however...." he took a deep breath as this part still left him feeling like he had failed her. "A katakana showed up out of nowhere and ran its arm right through her stomach." He shuddered and Selene grimaced as Ciri bit back the urge to cry.

"She killed it, Dandelion said the wound didn't even seem to slow her. However when I showed up she was on the ground and partly in Dandelion's arms as he screamed and cried begging her to hold on and wake up. Her blood was everywhere, pooling around her in a puddle and leaking from her mouth." Crach couldn't help but shudder and Ermion looked hotties, while Ciri was now crying against Selene's chest. "What blew our minds next was her mother showing up."

"I'm sorry that bitch showed herself?" Geralt nodded and Ciri stiffened knowing Selene and her mom clearly didn't get along. "Threatened us, attacked me and wanted Selene. We refused naturally. Dandelion said over his dead body, and just as Meya went to attack did Selene wake up and threatened her. Right after she blacked out again. So Meya relented and saved Selene's life." Crach looked angry, and Ciri was livid. "However before Meya left, she said something interesting and I wondered Ermion if you might know why she said it." "What did she say?" "Selene is worth more alive then dead"
